I haven't posted on this board for ages! Took a long break.

I don't remember why I quit posting. I think I might have had a stalker that was annoying me. LOL Anyway, I guess life just has a way of pushing or pulling a person in other directions. I did enjoy many of the debates.

I decided you were right so I implemented some measures to help me enjoy my A2K experience.

First off I put all the rude arsehats on ignore which numbered about 7 or 8.
then I made a rule that if any of the aforementioned started posting on my favorite debating threads that thread would be collapsed and disappear.
No peeks, no cheating.

Then I collapsed all the religion threads I used to enjoy. Too much agita

Same with evolution vs creation. Gone

So I'm left with funny jokes and pictures of cute animals.
And of course, music which is my passion.

Quite enough to keep me around I would think.

I resisted the ignore button for a good long while, but the repetetive BS just got too wearing, so I did very much the same as you, Pan.

I think I have four on ignore, and a2k browsing is all the better for it, but you're right, there can be no cheating as this lures one back to the dark side.

The problem is though, now I've sussed the a2k strategy, my real life has become exceedingly busy, and so limits my time here.

Maybe Craving Da Beer should create a private lounge, where all the old crowd could wallow when they want a bit of a laugh.
