Wow, thanks Noddy. Yes, the names that I know in A2K comprise a very small "community" among the more than 61,000 population.

I get a sense that there are a number of A2K communities. For instance, there seems to be a group of folks who post a lot to video games, and music forums. I would suspect that they are a younger subset of the total A2K community.

JLN--

Just click on any of the options at the top of the page: "New Posts", "My Topics" and you can check the number of members whenever your little heart desires.

At first they indicated that the new A2K format would allow _ (underscore). It seems they changed their mind on this and started asking legendary members such as J_B to change their screen names!

Legendary? Hot Damn! I'm legendary!!!

Actually, the programming changed our minds for us.

He was banned/binned(?) earlier this year. This had a rather great part in me reconsidering my own 'contributions' to A2K.

C.I., banned? Hard to imaging. The Devil must have possessed this generally reasonable and mild mannered person. I hope he's reinstated soon. He's a great asset to A2K.

Why isn't there a list of moderators posted somewhere on this site?

Thanks, Osso. It's good to have standards and a moderating team (of reasonable people) to implement them. I have in mind the shipwreck of Abuzz and WWII.

I don't require that moderators' names be known. We only need to know SOME of them, i.e., Craven and Jespah. Publications of every moderator's name could result in harassment.

How do you know what the chracteristics of the moderators are, if you don't know who they are?

We don't need to know Craven and/or Jespah as craven is the individual who developed this site and Jespah is the computer
input person. That's no secret, as everyone surely knows this.

Bear posted about not having internet access for a bit. He has limited access while at work.
