LOST & MISPLACED A2K people.

Hi Deb!

I guess we’ve both been to Albuquerque only because of the nice A2K people we first met online.

I remember (must have been around 2002), one time when you and Robert and me started chatting, and I was amazed: “we are writing and reading in real time in a 3 way conversation between people that are thousands of miles apart! For free!”.

As for me, I am retired since 2024, but still write a weekly column in the newspaper I directed.

I just found out the sad news that Tak (here known as "cicerone imposter") died last month.

Takeo Daniel Nomura's Obituary

I had the privilege of meeting him a few times in Germany, the USA, and the UK. His insights and kindness left a lasting impression on me.
We did have some "adventures" like taking a wrong train in Chicago or searching him in Hamburg. We will miss him.

RIP, Tak!

Sad to see CI has passed on. I enjoyed reading his posts. Quite a traveler too.

I had lunch with Tak (and Perry Dorel known here as PDiddie). I considered him a good friend. RIP, Tak.

Sorry to hear that. Rest peacefully CI.

So very sorry to hear about CI. I met him twice...perhaps once with you here in NYC. A truly great guy. Funny thing...early this week, I wore the A2K hat he gave us last time he was in town. Haven't had that hat on in a year. Just happened to use it...I think on Monday.

RIP, CI.

I have to stop checking in because every time I do, someone else is gone 🥺
