Yes, what about CI? Probably taking another of his world trips.

Phoenix, out west in September? Be sure to take a log of light clothing.

It seems to me that the relatively small number of A2Kers participating in this thread form a subset--actually a "community"--of the very large "population" of members of A2K. How large is that general population?

I think Lash was going to be sans computer/internet for a while - not sure though.
Walter has been in touch with CI.

And I think there are A2Kers who hang with Frank. Perhaps we will hear from them.

I thought I saw him post recently, but maybe it was a figment of my imagination.. or an old post. He tends to come and go, especially when golfing is possible.

JL- Don't start me on this one. We had gone to the SW for the last two years. I wanted to go back to the "four corners", as I love the area. This year my husband decided that he wanted a change, so we are going to Wyoming and Colorado, of all places. Probably hit Yellowstone, Grand Teton and Rocky Mountain National Parks. I would love to go to Glacier National Park, but that may be too far afield. We are driving, and a lot has to do with how much we can handle.

Now everyone who knows me well knows that I have this thing about packing. I need to allow for any and all contingencies. So................I have a suitcase packed with heavier things, and another one with the light stuff that I wear in Florida.

I am getting better about the packing though. Not one hissy fit yet, and I am almost finished! Laughing

Phoenix, I meant, of course, take a LOT (not a log) of light clothing. I'm referring to the heat down in the southwest. But where you're going, you'll probably need warm clothing as well.
Hissy fit? That doesn't sound like the reasonable Phoenix I know.

JL- You have no idea. I have discussed this on A2K some time back. I AM getting a lot better though.

Reason has nothing to do with how I act when I am packing. It is pure nuttiness!

P.S. I perused my old threads, and found this!

By the current (2:22 p.m. ) figures on the A2K masthead:

61,648 members.

At first they indicated that the new A2K format would allow _ (underscore). It seems they changed their mind on this and started asking legendary members such as J_B to change their screen names!
