Anyone with any news of Sturgis?
It feels like ages since he was last here.

To those who voiced concern and wondered where I had gone...

I'm back...again...Let's see if this time it all goes smoothly...

Sorry to have caused so much concern..although I do appreciate all the attention.

Essentially, it has been a rough couple of weeks (I refuse to acknowledge that I lost most of July) and among other things, I had to vacate Casa Rutland in favor of better medical care...New York in August...is anything more oppressive? (although it is a little cooler yesterday and today)

Thank you for contacting us, Sturgis. We were starting to get really worried about you.
Hey, you can get attention from us, any time! Very Happy
Sorry to hear that you've had such a difficult time of it.
How long do you expect to be in New York?

Oh, come on now, Mr S!
Admit it: you'd be thrilled to be surrounded by the Southern Wimmens Posse!

cypher

JLN was in touch with him a while ago, but there's been no word recently about how he's getting on.

(If by chance you could be reading this, Byron, a big hello to you! Very Happy)

Jeez - there's only 2 of them - just how fast can the pair of them move to surround you. Neither of them is much bigger than a spit!

Stand your ground, laddie!

Thank you for the update, Olga. I really hope he'll come back here sometime, when he's ready to.

Hopefully at least 20 to 30 years...if I can get the health to hold together.

Very Happy

I asked you that before I discovered (on the other thread) that you'd left your previous home for good, Sturgis!
I think you should aim for 40, myself! Very Happy

How are you today?

40 eh? That would get me to the age of...well, never you mind what age that would leave me at (a gentleman never tells his age).
Doing good today, although it is yet another gray and murky day...will this rain ever end?

How about yourself? You are being good to yourself, I trust.

Well, I'm doing my best in slightly less than perfect times, Sturgis. But then, that's life, hey? Things could be worse.

(The other day I re-read the Ukranian thread, from a while back, That was wonderful, silly fun, fighting over our respective "mother countries"! (neither of us exactly being experts on the countries we were defending so passionately!) Laughing )

Yes, it would be very nice to hear from Anon. I'm confident he's fine, but it would be nice to hear him say so.

I wondered the same thing about Frank, Phoenix. He either got banned or got bored. Still no word from Acquiunk(sp) or au.

Oh, before I forget (something I do a lot lately! Sad ) I am going on a road trip out west after Labor Day, for hopefully the entire month of September.
