Ummmm, because the US has been trying to overthrow the Syrian government for years. That is terrorism, plain and simple.

Odd that you folks always ignore that and the war crimes.

You wouldn't know terrorism if it chopped off your ******* head...Tell it to the parents of the kids that died by serin gas.

I applaud your honesty, Lash. It is so refreshing to hear honesty instead of the rank bullshyte that has long described these vicious war crimes and the unrelenting terrorism as "world's police" and other nonsensical fictions.

Tens of millions should not die when a country purports to be the world's police.

I suppose you are never going to answer the question of where you are from are you? Come JTT, for once, answer a question.

North Korea warns of nuclear strike if provoked; Trump 'armada' steams on

Trump, who has urged China to do more to rein in its impoverished ally and neighbor, said in a Tweet that North Korea was "looking for trouble" and the United States would "solve the problem" with or without Beijing's help.

"We are sending an Armada. Very powerful," Trump told Fox Business Network, adding: "We have submarines. Very powerful. Far more powerful than the aircraft carrier. That I can tell you.”

Referring to North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, Trump said: “He is doing the wrong thing.” Asked if he thought Kim was mentally fit, Trump replied: “I don’t know. I don’t know him.

North Korea remains technically at war with the United States and its ally South Korea after the 1950-1953 Korean conflict ended in a truce, not a peace treaty. It regularly threatens to destroy both countries.

The Trump administration has floated the idea of carrying out preemptive strikes against North Korea, but the scope and method of potential offensive actions remain unclear.

The Vinson's air wing, made up of more than 40 F/A-18 Hornets, provides the offensive capability to attack enemy targets with bombs or missiles while the carrier's E/A-18G Growler aircraft have the ability to jam enemy radars, disrupt enemy electronic surveillance and provide "cover" for attacking aircraft.

A potential US strike, using aircraft from the Vinson, could range from a small-scale strike against a single target, like a missile on a launch pad or the support equipment that makes a missile launch possible, to a broader set of military targets if the US meant to 'send a message' that an ICBM (intercontinental ballistic missile) or atomic device test was not going to be tolerated," Dakota Wood, an analyst at the DC-based Heritage Foundation, told CNN.

Trump in a debate in March responding to Rubio
Quote:
I don’t settle cases. I don’t do it because that’s why I don’t get sued very often, because I don’t settle, unlike a lot of other people.

And quite aside from all the suits he did settle before he became President, he has now, in some 80 days, settled with two chefs, the Trump U victims and perhaps more (have I forgotten any?)

One could prudently conclude that Trump can't be counted on to tell the truth. I know that's rash and confrontational, but it does seem prudent as a conclusion.

Nonsense. Overthrowing the Assad Government is a goal : terrorism is a method. The two are different things and not comparable.

We haven't been very friendly with the Assad government since Assad pere (Hafez) slaughtered the population of Hama in 1982 and Syria was"adopted" by the Soviets as a client state soon afterwards, though I know of no efforts to overthrow its government.

@georgeob1,
You little children - "I'm putting you on ignore".

What garbage, george! The USA is terrorism central. The only country to have ever been convicted of international terrorism. Condemned by the UNGA for a quarter century for its terrorism against Cuba.

Sean Spicer is phenomenally bad at his job. Completely unqualified to be White House Press Secretary.

Quote:
"On Passover no less, Sean Spicer has engaged in Holocaust denial, the most offensive form of fake news imaginable, by denying Hitler gassed millions of Jews to death," Steven Goldstein, executive director of the Anne Frank Center, said in a statement. "Spicer’s statement is the most evil slur upon a group of people we have overheard from a White House press secretary. Sean Spicer now lacks the integrity to serve as White House press secretary, and President Trump must fire him at once."

Shalom!

@jcboy,
Now, that becomes somewhat of an irony. Trump firing Spicer.
From the Atlantic.
Quote:
If President Trump wants to find a sacrificial lamb, he’s got options. There’s Sean Spicer, whose bumbling performances as press secretary have earned him a brutal mockery on Saturday Night Live and, reportedly, the dissatisfaction of the president. There’s Kellyanne Conway, who has proven a more effective spokesperson for the Oval Office but is also more prone to major blunders, and who finds herself in the crosshairs of congressional overseers after exhorting people to buy Ivanka Trump’s line of clothing.

This is no more offensive than all the American denials of genocide against Native Americans, the denials of most/many Americans of the myriad US war crimes, US terrorist acts, US slaughters, US death squads, US torture chambers, US theft of vast sums of wealth, Finn's biblical desire to see all Syrians slaughtered rather than his grandson, ... .

What is highly offensive is the constant barrage of US propaganda burying the evil that is the US, the evil that has always been the US, the evil that you all know will continue to be the US and you all, in your own ways, glorify it, brag about it, sweep it under the carpet, ... .

Shalom indeed!
