@izzythepush,
I got a hint of that from Trump's history of bigotry. There's always proof when white supremacists and the KKK support him.

@farmerman,
The interesting thing about Tricky Dick is that he never authorized or conspired to commit any break-in. His downfall was his loyalty to his homeboys--trying to protect them.

It was the cover-up that done him in. If he had just admitted that some low-level operative were responsible (or even just kept out of it) at the outset, it would have been long-forgotten within a month or two.

I don't think you get it...My only dog in the fight was that the Clinton crime family didn't take the white house...Hell, I would have even voted for YOU over that ****.

@old europe,
Quote:
An obvious demotion of Bannon, and a clear victory for McMaster. Interesting.

Yes, I think so. And Steve Benen points out that the WH rationale is less than convincing.
Quote:
As of today, however, Bannon has been removed from the NSC.
Quote:
President Donald Trump has removed Steve Bannon, his chief strategist, from the National Security Council, according to a filing in the federal registry. […]

A senior White House official told NBC News that the changes were not the result of any “power struggle” within the administration.

Bannon was put on the Principals’ Committee only as a check against then-National Security Adviser Michael Flynn, the official said. Now that Flynn is gone, Bannon is no longer needed in that role, the official said.

That’s an odd explanation. For one thing, why would the president find it necessary to have a check against his own hand-picked National Security Advisor? For another, Flynn was ousted on Feb. 13. If Bannon’s role on the Security Council became unnecessary after Flynn departed, why wait until April to make the change?
Benen
This WH is one finely-tuned-machine, no question.

@blatham,
Well blatham, I am considered and am at times borderline Conservative. However, I find nothing, I do mean nothing, in any way shape or form, remotely classy or decent about Trump or O'Reilly. The Pope is far above them in my view...and I'm not even Catholic.

Of course, it doesn't take much to be above Trump or O'Reilly. The average pile of sawdust is better than they are.

Well, alla yawl muslim sympathizers have something else to cheer on ISIS for, eh? They plan to kill Trump. Onliest problem is that maybe a friendly neighborhood muslim immigrant will be coming to see you soon, too, eh?

Quote:
ISIS group releases 'kill list' with the names and addresses of over 8,000 Americans including President Trump for lone wolf gunman to target in attacks

A group of hackers with ties to the Islamic State has released a list of Americans they want to see killed by lone wolf gunman.

The Pro-ISIS United Cyber Caliphate posted a video over the weekend in which they threatened both the United States and President Donald Trump while also revealing their new 'kill list.'

The list included both the names and addresses of 8,786 Americans.

'Kill them wherever you find them,' said the UCC in their message according to SITE Intelligence Group.

"Know that we continue to wage war against you. USA, You are our primary goal,' wrote UCC on Telegram. 'Your system failed to tackle our attacks. Now we will Crush you again.'

@layman,
Why would ISIS want to kill Trump? As the CIC smarter than all the generals, Trump hasn't accomplished much after all his verbose. They're safer with him at the helm. According to reports, Trump's been successful in killing more civilians.
