@hightor,
I just finished reading the whole thing, and I'm sort of stunned about what a good ear he has for people's perceptions. I'm saving it.

I think either the president's on meth or he is bi-polar. Evidently he stayed at the white house and got bored about one o clock in the morning and starting tweeting again.

Meanwhile, Flynn apparently had to list the companies he got paid speaking fees for.

I am beginning to think they already live there.

@Walter Hinteler,
Of course, Donald understands the problems inherent in shopping for and paying for groceries and heating ones home. Any billionaire would. After all they have the same monetary problems as people who make $35,000 a year. And some of them even have to pay almost as much tax as a regular person. Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

I see a spiral. I think I hope it's a spiral.

Stephen King, and his observations, I thought were spot on, correct, and to me scary.

Like most celebrities, they are good at what they do. If they were good at politics they'd do that... But they don't.

Michael Moore said it all, a lot more publicly, before the election.

That's very interesting. Trump IS a celebrity and you're right, he stinks like week old fish at politics. I thank you for your honesty.

@layman,
Well, talk to MacG, he's the one who claims celebrities stink at politics. He's right, take it up with one of your own.

@glitterbag,
Trump leaves the politickin to Pence. He mainly just sits around and barks out orders, ya know?

@layman,
So although executive orders - aka presidential legislation - have the full force of law, they have nothing to do with politics?

Opposite what you say, executive orders change the policy status quo and certainly are politics (qua Constitution).

@Walter Hinteler,
Well, Walt, ya know, with you bein a Kraut, and all, it's understandable, I suppose, but you're missing some of the nuances involved in American usage of the word "politician."

Hint: Think of a slimy piece of crap.

@layman,
So someone "engaged in politics, especially an elected or appointed government official" is in American usage of the word a slimy piece of crap. Thanks.

Yeah, ya got it. Almost on the lowest rung of the ladder, just a bit higher than a so-called "journalist" for the main stream media, better known as "a filthy hunk of ****."

@layman,
So you don't want to elect someone and don't like that she/he appoints someone - a hereditary monarchy would be fine then: the Trump Monarchy (the Bavarian House of Kallstadt would sound nice, too).
