@cicerone imposter,
I do understand "your" history and as for the constitution, I forget which part/amendment allows for interning American citizens or made up "terrorists" locked away for years in US black holes/gulags.

Look at how Asians would have been doing if there hadn't been this huge money grab based on nothing but racism.

Quote:
By Order of the President, a critically acclaimed 2001 book by Greg Robinson, an American historian at the University of Quebec, revealed a number of incendiary articles about Asians that Franklin Roosevelt wrote in the 1920s. In those articles, the future president asserted that “the mingling of Asiatic blood with European or American blood produces, in nine cases out of ten, the most unfortunate results.” FDR argued that because “Japanese immigrants are not capable of assimilation into the American population,” they could not be trusted and their right to purchase land should be restricted.

Quote:
Interestingly, the museum does include the cover of By Order of the President, and a brief excerpt from the book, in a side panel—so nobody can claim the museum completely ignores Robinson’s book. But the excerpt they chose is from a passage that does not mention FDR’s writings about Asians. That choice says a lot about what the museum wants visitors to see.

That's how it always works in the USA, the evil is hidden and the propaganda is given top billing.

How many Muslims are going to have to die in the next round of US internment, banishment, execution, illegal invasions, ... ?

@cicerone imposter,
That speaks volumes about good and also volumes about evil. I'll let you and others decide at whose feet those lie.

WINNING IDEA!!!

Are you an investor who can think outside of the bag?

I've developed an exciting and delicous food product based on the holy communion biscuit. But I take that biscuit and infuse it with fresh air and cheese flavoring and salt.

Slogan: It's a tasty snack and a religious observance at the same time!

TV Spot:
Midwestern man, broad shoulders, healthy head of hair, his back to the camera as he moves his arm and makes a rustling sound and he reaches to the right where we see his son, both on a hay bale, the son right out of Norman Rockwell with freckles.
Dad: deep voice
"Try one of these"
Son: takes the food product and then takes a bite. His eyes go wide. He takes another bite.
Dad: "Well, what do you think, son?"
Son: an orange halo appears around the son's head
"There's cheese and Jesus in every bite!"

Camera turns to the handsome and weather-beaten and warmly smiling face of the father. He takes the straw out of his mouth.
Dad: looking at the camera
"That's right. There's cheese and there's Jesus in every danged bite. Jeezees.
JEEZEES in script over the visual. Large font.
"Get them at your local grocery or convenience store"

Precisely, and another "Japanese relocation" in the works.

Quote:
Justice Antonin Scalia said in a speech at the University of Hawaii last week that the internment of the Japanese was “wrong”—although he added, “You are kidding yourself if you think the same thing would not happen again.”

Are you happy that the Japanese internees were paid a paltry sum out of the vast wealth that was taken from them? Perhaps the Muslims will be required to fund the next US illegal invasion.

Even better question:
How many innocent Americans will die in the next 9/11 style attack?

Another good question: How many people of color will die at the hands of harsh slave masters before the muslim world bans slavery? I mean, yeah, you can read about slavery in the Christian world, but you have to open a history book to do it.

@cicerone imposter,
Trump was responsible for the drop in the US ranking on "best place to live."

Quote:
The whole world was watching the U.S. election. And for the most part, it didn't like what it saw.

More than 70 percent of survey respondents lost respect for U.S. leadership as a result of the toxic nature of the U.S. election, according to a poll conducted for the 2017 U.S. News Best Countries Rankings.

That sentiment, combined with global distaste for Donald Trump, played a role in the U.S. falling from the No. 4 Best Country to No. 7.

I wonder how much more damage Trump is going to do to our country?
We're only 46 days into his administration.

@blatham,
I don't remember it as a biscuit. Wafer was the word.

You get to mock, I don't want to. I had some rage in my twenties, after I left, but settled down. Religion has, to me, mixed attributes. Bonnie, one of my first atheist friends, talked of a wider take.

On the other hand, this is not a scold.

@camlok,
Quote camlok's source:

Newsflash! n the 1920s, most people in America were racist, it was the normal thing. The Ku Klux Klan was considered a repectable organization.

And yet, a few years later, Roosevelt's Public Works Administration inserted a clause in all its contracts that blacks had to be hired in a percentage equal to their share of the population. This was in direct contrast to the normal procedure of the time, which is that blacks only got hired if a white man did not want the job.

It was revolutionary for its time.

All cookies are biscuits, but not all biscuits are cookies. A cookie is a specific type of biscuit.
