It’s always amazing to me - how patient and considerate our law enforcement is, when rioters and thugs and criminals are white. Those people climbing the walls of the Capitol - scaring the hell out of lawmakers - trespassing on federal grounds - they need to be moved the hell out of there with force. It seems law enforcement just runs into a dilemma and a puzzlement with white criminals that they just are never bothered with, when the offenders are of color.

Well, looking live that people can storm a parliament, any parliament, is something totally new to me.

I'd never thought that could happen, especially not in the USA, when others are shot dead in the back, just because they don't stop when the police ordered them to do so.

Well, they are just roaming around in the senate floor going through all the papers and things. Snood is exactly right. If it was a BLM protest, they never would have made it to the steps.

The entire D.C. National Guard will be activated within hours, putting 1,100 guardsmen on duty after criminals supporting Trump breached the Capitol.
Theis rapid expansion of military involvement came after Mayor Muriel E. Bowser (D) requested that guardsmen already on duty be sent to the Capitol, although defence officials previously had been resistant to getting dragged into politics.
