Georgia certifies Biden's win after statewide audit

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger's office made an about face Friday, saying he hasn't yet certified the results of the presidential election, one hour after issuing a press release announcing it was complete.

Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp, a Republican, has until 5 p.m. ET Saturday to sign the paperwork that officially grants Georgia's 16 electors to Biden, according to state law.

After four long days of uncertainty, the purveyors of mainstream media credibility — including The Washington Post, New York Times, Associated Press and all the major broadcast and cable news networks including the president’s once-favorite Fox News — all declared on Nov. 7 that Joe Biden had won the presidency.

Here and there, a few votes remained to be counted. But the outcome was clear to most of the media. The election was over. And President Trump had lost.

But nearly two weeks later, as courts shut down the Trump campaign’s long-shot legal challenges and states move forward with certifications of the vote, Trump himself is not letting go. And fighting alongside him are large — if wavering— swaths of the conservative media landscape.

The result is an alternate information universe that, despite all evidence to the contrary, attempts to portray the election’s outcome as still uncertain and a Biden presidency as highly doubtful if not illegitimate. “President Trump was right to call this for what it really is — fraud,” declared the popular conservative radio host Todd Starnes in a Nov. 5 piece titled “We Are Watching a Slow-Moving Coup.” Or as the Federalist declared the same day: “Yes, Democrats Are Trying To Steal The Election In Michigan, Wisconsin, And Pennsylvania.”

It’s a thread of coverage and commentary rooted in conspiratorial thinking — but also in a thriving business model. While many Trump voters accept the inevitability of a Biden presidency, “the energy in conservative media is around the 20 million people in Trump’s base who believe the election was stolen,” said Chris Balfe, CEO of Red Seat Ventures, which helps conservative personalities such as Megyn Kelly and Nancy Grace build their own Web, podcast and other digital platforms.

mall cable outlets like One America News Network and Newsmax have turned their refusal to call the election into a new branding strategy, while the prime-time opinion hosts on Fox News have played up anecdotal, and often baseless, claims of voter fraud. This, even as the federal Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency said last week that “the November 3rd election was the most secure in American history.”

These conservative outlets have also given ample coverage to the long-shot legal maneuverings of the Trump campaign, even as it has abandoned some of its challenges and endured a series of judicial defeats.

One America News, which has been trumpeted by the president as an alternative to Fox, went so far as to expunge from its website a routine just-the-facts wire-service story that quoted Biden asserting that his victory was secure.

Senate and House Races Compared to Presidential Seem Curious
Others have taken a look at ballot numbers in important states with no down-ballot votes, versus states that are not swing states, and noticed a disturbing trend.
In Michigan, Trump received 2,637,173 votes while the GOP senate candidate received 2,630,042 votes. The difference here is only 7,131 which is not far off from what we see historically. In the same state, Joe Biden received 2,787,544 votes while the Democratic senate candidate received 2,718,451. The difference is 69,093 votes which is much higher than the historical norm.
In Georgia, it’s even worse. President Trump gained 2,432,799 votes, while the GOP Senate candidate tallied 2,433,617 votes. This is a difference of only 818 votes. Joe Biden in contrast gained 2,414,651 votes, while his Democratic Senate candidate tallied 2,318,850 votes. This is a difference of 95,801 votes.
In many counties and states across the country, including in those called for Biden or where Trump is now trailing, Republicans substantially overperformed what was projected. NBC estimates Republicans may ultimately end up gaining as many as eight seats.
In Cuyahoga, Ohio, Joe Biden only had a net gain of 4,000 votes compared to Hillary Clinton’s 2016 performance, yet at the same time had a net gain of almost 70,000 in Wayne County Michigan. Numbers like this are unprecedented and highly questionable. Some economists have even expressed their confusion regarding what happened in Wayne county and Milwaukee in the dead of night.
Joe Biden apparently ended up with millions more votes than Barack Obama received in his historic 2008 election where he ended up with 365 electoral votes, winning Florida, North Carolina, and even Indiana. This is even with millions more votes to be counted yet in 2020.

The Amount of Votes That Went For Biden

If you need any more reasons to doubt democracy, just consider the amount of votes Biden received.

This is a man that was exposed as a corrupt politician meddling in other nations elections and investigations.

This is a man with a son that acted as his “bag man” and smoked crack.

This is a man who is clearly under the hand of the Chinese who hold dirt on him and his family.

This is a man that could barely articulate a sentence during half of his rallies.

This is a man that forgot he was running for president over 10 times.

This is a man that spent over four decades in politics. During that tenure he become a millionaire and changed nothing.

This is a man with a policy platform that would absolutely destroy this nation.

Yet, this is the man who half the voters in the nation voted for.

A corrupt, demented, foreign-controlled, creepy, moronic, career politician.

Democracy: not even once.

You have nothing to do with reality.
