We've had four years of that already, with denials by the dem half of the planet.

@Builder,
They are not denials, they are rebukes of a failed Administration.

Really? Are you trying to say that half the population of the entire planet is in on this?

@coldjoint,
No, this country isn't needy. In real world sense at least. It's extremely needy in the "holy crap I need Donald Trump in order to have a good life" Trump supporter sense. That's what's really sad.

Australia is equally divided on the outcome, probably because expat Aussie Rupert Mudrock currently controls over 90% of all of "our" media outlets.

Europe long ago understood what a ****-show you're running there.

There could easily be that many illegal votes. We will find out. And fictional is the media expecting people to believe there is no fraud and that the Democrats have integrity.

Do you mean that Obama Administration handed Trump a well-designed, anti-fraud and fair voting system that ensured Trump's win in 2016, and then the system oddly deteriorated and became fraud-friendly during Trump's rule?

You really don't know that much about Trump supporters, most likely you insult them because everyone else does.

@coldjoint,
Here is my theory of a Trump supporter
A.) Needs a savior because Jesus isn't coming to save them anytime soon
B.) Since they know Jesus is never going to come for them, they create someone who will bring them the riches of the world.
C.) They forget that there are way more people who have a much better outlook of life than they do; that they make themselves into the joke. By being paranoid, conspiracy spewing laughingstocks.
D.) Jesus still isn't coming to save them
E.) Repeat...Probably try Rudy in 8 years, even if he's dead
F.) Sometimes you need to try something new. Like your own conspiracy theories new

@coldjoint,

Only intolerant people complain about differences of opinion.

True, but it's not "differences of opinion" that's causing Trump supporters to migrate to new social media platforms, it's their need to construct a fictional reality based on "alternative facts". For instance, with Trump in the lead, the right claimed the malaria drug hydroxychloroquine was a cure for the pandemic. This was false. But they persisted in keeping it front and center even after it was proven to be ineffective and possibly dangerous. Since there's a worldwide pandemic going on, media outlets didn't want to be responsible for spreading false information which could lead to people harming themselves out of ignorance. The MAGAtards screamed "censorship!" but it's not — it's editing. Censorship implies the government banning freedom of speech and prosecuting those who break defy the ban — which didn't happen. If media companies and the advertisers who support them don't want to allow certain types of discussion the obvious solution is to avail oneself of the multiple outlets who will allow — even encourage — the distribution of politically convenient falsehoods. There's no real political discussion when neither side accepts the factual foundation of their opponent's argument. There's only fighting and name-calling. And this is the only reason a lot of people show up on message boards like this one — simply to insult people who don't share their political beliefs. Some people live for that sort of thing.

Trump is floating a 2024 second run. The NYT notes this would present a problem for Pence. I'll say. But then again, he'll be up for a second Gold medal in ego-crushing-servility, so it's not completely bleak for him.

Hypocrisy seems to be a way of life for these people. Coldjoint is highly intolerant of those with different opinions, Muslims for example.

It's a good idea. After the Republicans undermine a weak and ineffective Biden Administration for the next four years, 2024 should be a lot like running for office in 2016 after the weak and ineffective Obama Administration.

Hopefully on his way out the door Mr. Trump will appoint a number of independent prosecutors to hound the Biden Administration with endless criminal investigations.

Except, it's actually progressives who rely on fictional realities. And conservatives are censored on those platforms even when they have the truth on their side.

a2k should set up a special section with stern moderation where such name-calling is not allowed.
