From the CDC's
own research, the best results they've had from any of their influenza jabs, is 33% effectiveness. What makes you think any rushed attempt at a covid vaccine will yield better results?
Where in the link did you get your "33% effectiveness"? Did you find it simply in the cornor of your imagination?
Here's CDC's data, the best is 60%, almost twice of your number, which is very useful:
Quote:How effective is the flu vaccine?
CDC conducts studies each year to determine how well the influenza (flu) vaccine protects against flu illness. While vaccine effectiveness (VE) can vary, recent studies show that
flu vaccination reduces the risk of flu illness by between 40% and 60% among the overall population during seasons when most circulating flu viruses are well-matched to the flu vaccine. In general, current flu vaccines tend to work better against influenza B and influenza A(H1N1) viruses and offer lower protection against influenza A(H3N2) viruses.

COVID is not flu.
So far, the data have showed that COVID vaccines can be very effective. Immunologist Moncef Slaoui, the head of Operation Warp Speed, said “My personal opinion, based on my experience and the biology of this virus, I think this vaccine is going to be highly efficacious. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s in the 90% .”
The only effective way to reach herd immuity is through vaccinations. It is time for Trump, who is preaching natural herd immunity fallacy, to go home to enjoy his wealth. I believe American people don't mind he only pays $750 taxes a year.
