@farmerman,
The Electoral College is neither non-constitutional nor a trick.

It's hardly a trick.

I doubt that anyone can establish that it violates the Constitution.

I doubt that anyone can make a case that there is anything wrong with having such a system.

I tend to not have knowledge of nonexistent things.

I didn't.

A hospital would constantly offer standard medical measures to prevent the spread of infectious diseases and treat people. Without it, Trump would likely become a superspreader. In this case, to protect Trump is to protect American people.

He was in a first class HOSPITAL with all sorts of fine medical people...and they have not stopped him from becoming a superspreader.

Your notion of, "Keep him safe and he won't be a superspreader" seems suspect to me. BUT make him dead...and he won't be a superspreader.

Are you suggesting someone kills him? You should watch that. I am on ignore, maybe someone else should tell him.

This guy has a point.
Quote:
My friend, New York Times columnist Bret Stephens, is one prominent example. He believes in a strong American defense, supported Trump’s withdrawal of the United States from Barack Obama’s agreement with Iran, credits Trump with the Israeli peace agreements with Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, saluted Trump’s moving of the American embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, and presumably supports other Trump policies, such as the president’s extraordinary success with regard to the American economy prior to the lockdowns that crushed the economy.

Yet, he so loathes the president that he will vote for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

He and many other Americans (we will soon know how many) who support the president’s Republican policies will vote for the party that stands for almost everything they oppose because they will “vote for the man, not the party.”

I find nothing admirable in this position — morally or rationally. At this time in American history, to care more about an individual candidate than the party is to support the unraveling of America. It is so irrational as to be incredible.

Caught Red Handed: Brennan's Handwritten Notes Prove Obama Was Briefed on Scheme to Set Up Trump

Well, if this not show (prove) Obama's complicity to the over three years of total bullshit from Democrats and the media I don't know what does.

A president does not do things like that. The excuse that it is "because Trump" does not justify what Obama did. He is a disgrace.

It will be interesting to see how NBC covers this, if they do at all.

A hand-picked puppet.

Cheney got away with a lot, but they figured Obama could push the envelope a whole lot further again.

@oralloy,

The only times I ever hear "Bill Gates" and "vaccine" in the same sentence, the source always seems to be those QAnon people.

So Reuters is now also under the Qanon banner, roy boy? I see the latest "justification" for villifying the Q movement, is that they're antisemitic. Though put to the task, nobody can show where or how they've come to that conclusion.

Horowitz: Did WHO official just admit that COVID-19 death rate is similar to that of the flu?

We have been had.

Quote:
Late last week, Dr. Mike Ryan, the executive director of the WHO's health emergencies programme, said that "our best guess" is that 10 percent of the world has been infected with the virus. That is roughly 750 million people. While he meant to sow panic and push for more restrictions, he inadvertently let the cat out of the bag and gave us the infection fatality rate.

According to the WHO, roughly 1 million people have died from the virus. Let's put aside the fact that so many of those people died with the virus, not because of it and that a majority would have died within the year. Working with their official count, it would mean the implied infection fatality rate for the world, according to the WHO, is 0.13%.

Guess what else has a similar fatality rate? If you guessed the plain old flu, you won the jackpot.
Here are the estimated fatality rates in the U.S. of the past decade worth of flu seasons based on CDC data.

Chart at link.

Freaking Mike Pence. His camp is making big protestations about their candidate being required to debate tomorrow night from behind a plexiglass barrier.

This, from the supposed Pandemic task force leader.

Sounds like a desperate try at an excuse not to have to face Kamala.
