The decimation and dispossession of native mericans is one truth.. Incidentally the teacher is promoting a myth--the natives at the first thanksgiving did not live in tepees. That was plains "indians", they lived in wigwams. Churchill was racist and an imperialist, and totally out of step with postwar britiain, and its new place in history. He was that as much or mokre as he did what was needed in WWII. And it is a fact that half of the founding fathers at the constitutional convention were slave holders and that led inevitably to the civil war,and segregation and to try to gloss that over is to ignore half of our history.
