That saves you the trouble of distinguishing any rich or powerful person from any other. Anyone who arrives in leadership, particularly in the WH as President, is axiomatically a sociopath. Trump or Obama or Reagan or Lincoln or Eisenhower, no difference. All the same.

Eisenhower was the last President that did not come in to Office off the public dole. The US has not had very many Presidents that came into office as wealthy as Trump... Lets take a look...

Yep, not really even close...

How many Presidents have we had since the Information Age began where every single thing someone has done or said has been recorded?

It's neat how you try to lump in specific Presidents though. I talk about now, you talk about then.

Cute trick.

Democratic National Committee platform mentions ‘whites’ 15 times, all damning

Are there that many self hating white people? The Democrats think so. That is sad, and racist.
Quote:
In more than 80 pages in the draft platform published by Politico, whites are mentioned 15 times, all critical, including three references to white supremacy or supremacists and one to white nationalists. The document doesn’t capitalize white as it does Black, Latinos, Asian Americans, and Native Americans.

@McGentrix,
I know that capitalism is supposed to work best when there is compatition among companies. But when there is only one big company who owns all the business that they engage in there is no competition and a company with a. Monopoly can set the price where ever they want which the usbusiness isent really capitalism but monopolistic business. The drug companies are a good example of a monopoly. As to Trump i remember his mail in college scam for which he paid a huge fine because he was cheating students which was only one of his illegal scams which included laundering Russian mafia money at his casinos.

Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz announced Thursday he has opened an investigation into the use of force by U.S. marshals in Portland, Ore. The investigation will review federal agents’ conduct at protests there and in the District of Columbia in recent months.

Horowitz’s jurisdiction covers only those agencies within the Justice Department, such as the marshals, FBI, Drug Enforcement Administration, and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. But his office said his work will be coordinated with his counterpart at the Department of Homeland Security.

The statement specifically references “events in Lafayette Square on June 1, 2020,” when federal agents teargassed peaceful protesters near the White House.

"Too Much and Never Enough" by Mary Trump

P. 16-17
Although my aunts and uncles will think otherwise, I'm not writing this book to cash in or out of the desire for revenge. If either of those had been my intention, I would have written a book about our family years ago, when there was no way to anticipate that Donald would trade on his reputation as a really bankrupt businessman and irrelevant reality show host to ascend to the White House; when it would have been safer because my uncle wasn't in a position to threaten and endanger whistleblowers and critics. The events of the last three years, however, have forced my hand, and I can no longer remain silent. By the time this book is published, hundreds of thousands of American lives will have been sacrificed on the altar of Donald's hubris and willful ignorance. If he is afforded a second term, it would be the end of American democracy.

I hope this book will end the practice of referring to Donald's strategies or agendas as if he operates according to any organizing principles. He doesn't. Donald's ego has been and is a fragile and inadequate barrier between him and the real world, which, thanks to his father's money and power, he never had to negotiate by himself. Donald has always needed to perpetuate a fiction my grandfather started that he is strong, smart, and otherwise extraordinary, because facing the truth-- that he is none of those things-- is too terrifying for him to contemplate.

Donald, following the lead of my grandfather and with the complicity, silence, and inaction of his siblings, destroyed my father. I can't let him destroy our country.

During Tuesday's coronavirus briefing, tRump sent his well-wishes to Ghislaine Maxwell, who was recently arrested on charges related to child sex trafficking.
"I just wish her well, frankly. I've met her numerous times over the years," he added.

Yea he's met her numerous times but claims he didn't really know Epstein. Does this POS ever tell the truth?

Trump was asked if he thought powerful men would be exposed as part of the high-profile case.
"I don't know. I haven't really been following it too much," Trump said.
"I just wish her well, frankly. I've met her numerous times over the years," he added.

In yet another unsurprising move, Trumples has announced cancellation of the Jacksonville, Florida portion of the Republican Party Convention.
I'm sure, yeah absolutely positively sure, this decision is in no way, shape or form, related to the whopping Covid-19numbers - both cases and increasing deaths, or the fact that the police department there has made clear they are not prepared to handle this...especially considering the short time window they were given.

Thursday News Roundup: The Kids Need to go to School and Racist Democrats Hate Science

Sounds about right.
Quote:
The truth about the Democrat Party is that it has been a racist party since the day it was founded, and it has never been more transparently racist than it is today. This is just an immutable and enduring fact of history.

Self hated is cool. at least Democrats think it is. They are warping minds by design. Not good.
Quote:
Want to know why our kids need to go back to school this fall? Listen to a doctor. – Stanford University Medical Center, Dr. Scott Atlas appeared on Fox News and told the interviewer that there are “zero excuses” to keep children from returning to schools in the fall.

Democrats and the teachers unions are ignoring the science.
Using children for political purposes is unacceptable.

@coldjoint,
first six minmites of video and no hard facts, just supposition and unsupported assetions. Saw her on Colbert last night and none of his assertions aboiut her and her demeanor and behavior were corroborated in her lengthy appearance there. Just more slavish trumian bullshit on the video guy's part. She has much more direct credibility than he does.
