@farmerman,
Finally acknowledging the relicts of the confederate war is uniting the country. Trying to keep those images of the confederate war is simply racist. In the place of those statues, put the image of up of heroes of slaves escaping to the underground railroad to freedom, or other worthy benchmarks of the south freedom from slavery and later to civil rights movement. Our country's past history of keeping blacks from Africa or other countries in slavery is shameful and aught not to be celebrated.

@revelette1,
Falsely accusing people of racism is silly. And it shows that you have no facts or logic to justify your position.

There is nothing wrong with the South honoring their heroes.

Why do you think slavery and treason and the murder of hundreds of thousands of American soldiers are deserving of pride and respect?

War is hardly murder.

And I don't support slavery. Why do you falsely accuse people of supporting slavery?

As shameful as it is, the NASCAR thing from Trump is another gimmick. It's all he's got. If he don't promote some kind of hate, he has nothing at all. He is showing signs of desperation.

There is no shame and no hate in opposing progressive bigotry. Neither is it desperation or a gimmick.

Progressives are very bad people. It is right that they and their bigotry are opposed.

Shootings And Killings Surge In Democrat-Run Cities Across the Country

Tearing down statues and attacking people on Twitter are more important than a few more deaths in the Democratic shitholes. Hating Trump does not stop the killing. What are these Democratic leaders going to do? Blame the police? The police are defunded in some of these cities. Children are dying because of it.
Who wants an America like this? A lot of people, the majority some claim. Could someone explain why this is preferable to law and order?

Quote:
Since June, shootings and murders have surged across many of the country’s major cities. Minneapolis, New York, Philadelphia, Nashville, Chicago, Milwaukee, Indianapolis, Cincinnati, and New Orleans have all seen murders jump over 20 percent this year. The violence is heavily concentrated in the last few months, ever since protests have led to nationwide pressure on politicians to “defund” and “reimagine” policing.

Just as concerning is that these stats do not include data from the end of June and July. Data from New York and Chicago, recent data from which we do have, tells that the last few weeks have seen by far the worst of the violence. Murders and shootings in the Windy City are up about 80 percent, and New York has averaged at a 209 percent over these last weeks compared to the same times last year. It’s likely these disturbing numbers for the cities above only captures a fragment of the lives lost during unrest in which many protesters chant “Black Lives Matter.”

It’s also worth noting that Atlanta appeared to lack this crime spike just a few weeks ago, according to the statistics released above. If it serves as a bellwether, then the cities that already had a surge at the time of recording are in deep water. The scale will likely become apparent over the next few weeks.

Every one of the cities above has both a Democrat mayor and Democrat-controlled city council.[/quote]

@coldjoint,
A lot of those shootings are probably white people justifiably defending themselves and then slipping away unnoticed.

Hardly, Blacks are being killed by Blacks in the Democratic shitholes. Another comment from another gutless wonder who cannot bring himself to accept the fact Democrats are responsible for the Black mans problems and needless deaths.

Patriotism Wasn't Racist When Obama Celebrated Independence Day

How about that? What happened?
Quote:
Here’s a little of what Obama had to say during his last Independence Day as president in 2016:

Obviously the Fourth of July — we enjoy the hotdogs, we enjoy the burgers, we enjoy the barbecue, we enjoy the day off for a lot of us, we enjoy the fireworks. But it’s important to remember what a miracle this country is. How incredible — how incredibly lucky we are that people, generations ago, were willing to take up arms and fight for our freedom. And then people, inside this country, understanding that there were imperfections in our union and were willing to keep on fighting on behalf of extending that freedom to all people and not just some.

I think that would include everyone, despite of their color.

CDC: Official U.S. COVID Death Count Has Plunged 88% Since Mid-April

I have not heard this on network news. I wonder why? It does not fit their fear for your life narrative could be why.
Quote:
The first COVID-involved death in this country was reported to the CDC in the week ending February 8.

The death count reached doubled digits (33) one month later, in the week ending March 7; triple digits (553) two weeks later; four digits (3,058) in the week ending March 28; then the COVID death count climbed to highs of 15,719 and 16,374 for the weeks ending April 11 and April 18, respectively. It's been downhill from there.

Facts the media omits purposely. Stop being had.
