@MontereyJack,
The South would never have joined the union if the Framers had done that, and slavery would still exist in the South to this day.

When did Communism become a race? You are really on the cutting edge.

Gen. Michael Flynn issued a dire warning a "small group of passionate people working hard to destroy our American way of life" in an op-ed for The Western Journal this week.

"I was once told if we're not careful, 2% of the passionate will control 98% of the indifferent 100% of the time," Flynn began. "The more I've thought about this phrase, the more I believe it. There is now a small group of passionate people working hard to destroy our American way of life.

"Treason and treachery are rampant and our rule of law and those law enforcement professionals who uphold our laws are under the gun more than at any time in our nation's history. These passionate 2% appear to be winning."

Flynn, who has been embroiled in a fight between Obama-era officials and the Justice Department calling for the dropping of his case of lying to federal investigators because of an entrapment scheme, rebuked the "children of darkness" and urged the silent majority to start to speak out against tyranny and oppression of the violent uprising against American history and ideals.

"Despite there being countless good people trying to come to grips with everything else on their plates, our silent majority (the indifferent) can no longer be silent," Flynn wrote.

"If the United States wants to survive the onslaught of socialism, if we are to continue to enjoy self-government and the liberty of our hard-fought freedoms, we have to understand there are two opposing forces: One is the 'children of light' and the other is the 'children of darkness.'

"Time and again, the silent majority have been overwhelmed by the 'audacity and resolve' of small, well-organized, passionate groups," Flynn added. "It's now time for us, the silent majority (the indifferent), to demonstrate both."

Flynn is right. How can anyone say with a straight face that the Left, who hate this country, should or could be elected to run it.

@coldjoint,
the country thrived the last time the left-ish were in power, during the Obama years. The GOP-ravaged economy was rebuilt and put on a sound footing. More than 20 million people got affordable healthcare and more than a hundred million were protected from pre-existing conditions. Then Trump lied his way in and all the wheels came off and chaos has reigned ever since. Save the country. Vote Straight Blue.

@oralloy,
So it's taken a war with half a million deaths and a century of the Klan, lynching's, and denial of human rights for black citizens to rectify the F.F's surrender to political expediency.

The only people that thrived were the one percent. Unemployment was high and race relations were set back 30 years. His foreign policy enabled terrorists. There was nothing good for this country that came out of his presidency.

@coldjoint,
Fpr my money, the best song for the 4th of july recorded this year. Madisen Hellberg was asked to record the national anthem for her virtual graduation from Portland State. She was recording and an opera singer out for some fresh air walked by, and magic happened.

A Kansas newspaper whose publisher is a county Republican chairman posted a cartoon on its Facebook page likening an order from the state’s governor requiring people to wear masks in public to the round-up and murder of millions of Jews during the Holocaust.

The cartoon on the Anderson County Review’s Facebook page depicts Democratic governor Laura Kelly wearing a mask with a Jewish Star of David on it, next to people being loaded on to train cars. Its caption is: “Lockdown Laura says: Put on your mask ... and step on to the cattle car.”

The Anderson County Review

Quote:
In 2020, the newspaper published to its Facebook page a cartoon criticizing Kansas's mask policy against the COVID-19 pandemic in which Democratic Governor Laura Kelly is shown against a backdrop of a Holocaust train with the caption of "Lockdown Laura says: Put on your mask ... and step onto the cattle car," seemingly implying the mask order was a prelude to ethnic cleansing. Kelly was also depicted with a prominent Star of David. The Review and its owner Dane Hicks were criticized for the cartoon by Kelly as well as others for being anti-Semitic and trivializing the Holocaust.[2] Hicks refused to back down or apologize, saying that there was nobody to apologize to and that "Facebook is a cesspool".[2]

Meanwhile, in Georgia...

A large group of armed black protesters marched on Stone Mountain. They were peaceful, focused and a very welcome sight to me.

They call themselves the ‘NFAC’ . The Not ******* Around Coalition.

Gawd, I like so many things about this...
