Now, or very soon, they would be sued. Enough suits to bankrupt them.

Also they would be violating their own TOS.

@coldjoint,
I see a fed judge reversing this and a court fight starts that will keep evrything as is till after the election. Then they can fight all they want and take it to the USSC. but by then plumpity will be a bad dream

@coldjoint,
Ok, how?

Don't these types of platforms reserve that right to reject people from using their service?

So you are saying the obvious unfair advantage big tech gives to Democrats is fair and ethical? Says a lot about you.

Then why do they have a TOS agreement? Are you saying they do not have to honor it? Then why have it?

You(and I mean Trump haters) are so used to having things your way you are now screaming because someone is doing something about it. Suck it up.

@coldjoint,
Hey, back off a sec. I'm not even on Twitfest.

However, management can and does reserve the right to kick people off it's platform.

If the person or group has not broken the rules and being a "neutral" platform they claim to be, they shouldn't. But they are not neutral and the majority of the execs are asshole Leftists.

@RABEL222,
And how they got the SCOTUS to rule they didn't have any obligation to be truthful and factual? Sure have. Sounds like Trump wants the right to be as full of **** as Fox.

He should be allowed to say what he wishes without editorial interference on a neutral platform. Twitter is denying that right which ends their neutrality and they are going to pay for it one way or the other.

Fighting back is catching on and the Left knows it cannot win any debate about Democratic policies and what they have done and intend to do to this country so they censor it. Trump is bringing it and inspiring others to get out and destroy the narrative which is a huge lie.

@coldjoint,
In you're pointed little head you think Fox's right to lie and dissemble is the same as Trump's self-presumed right to force someone to publish his crap. If this is Trumps free speech, where's twitter's right of free speech to call it crap? Corporations are people, remember?

No, it is the right of other users on a neutral platform, not the owners of the platform. When they interfere with editorial comments that makes them publishers and liable.

With any luck Twitter will be sued into bankruptcy.

Since the laws treated them as one and they take full advantage of abusing that privilege. Facebook is supposed to be neutral too. If they lose that standing they will be responsible for every post. That means they will cease to exist.

Zuckerberg dead at 36. Incest charges dropped.

https://www.theshovel.com.au/2020/05/28/mark-zuckerberg-dead-at-36-says-social-media-fact-check/

Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg – who died of coronavirus in his Californian home today – says it is not Facebook’s role to be the arbiter of truth for everything people post online.

The billionaire tech whiz, who tested positive to COVID-19 last week before being admitted to hospital on Sunday, said Facebook had a very different view to Twitter, which recently started fact-checking President Trump’s tweets.

“In general, private companies probably shouldn’t be in the position of doing that,” Zuckerberg – whose funeral will be held next week – said in an interview with Fox News.

As tributes flowed in from across the world, Zuckerberg – who lists Adolf Hitler amongst his heroes – said people had a right to hear a range of views and that censorship was anti-democratic.

He is survived by his eight children and three wives. Authorities say the incest charges against him will now be dropped.

I wonder why direct insults like that that violate the TOS here are voted up, anyone else?

As anyone should be able to see Trump has a point, and not on his head either.
