“I look at those people and I see the forgotten men and the forgotten women economically” Kelley Ann Conway told Fox's Sandra Smith.

Oh yeah, fer sure. Do a price check on that model of Dodge Ram. And then there's all the weaponry these folks have displayed on the living room wall where a bookshelf might be.

I guess you could call this situation, the opposite of "peak oil".

As a commodity, it still requires either storage, or transport, so holding it while there's zero demand, is both costly, and risky.

Quote:
Oil has traded at negative prices for the first time in United States' history, with demand for energy collapsing amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The benchmark price for US crude plummeted to negative $US35.20 a barrel as traders sought to avoid owning crude with nowhere to store it.

It was nearly $US60 at the start of the year, before business-shutdown orders swept the world and stopped the operation of factories, offices and cars.

Demand for oil has collapsed so much that facilities for storing crude are nearly full.

"It's a historic day," Bob Yawger, director of futures at Mizuho Securities said.

"What it means is there's no available storage anymore so the price of the commodity is effectively worthless.

What would happen to it, if no storage can be found?

This looks like another win for the Kremlin team, to me.

Here's a show for all you right wingers and Trump supporters, it's full of your favourites Lindberg, Hannity, Tucker and more.
But be warned this show might contain actual facts and we know you don't like those.

Trump's Stay At Home Order Protests Have Completely Backfired
From the article:

The survey, conducted April 17 to April 19, found that a full 60 percent of the public opposes the largely pro-Trump protesters whose calls for governors to “liberate” their states by lifting lockdown measures have attracted intense media attention in recent days — and whose message the president amplified Friday in a series of all-caps “LIBERATE” tweets about three swing states: Minnesota, Michigan and Virginia.
Only 22 percent of Americans say they support the protesters. Despite Trump’s messaging, even Republicans oppose the protests 47 percent to 36 percent. Asked whether they agree or disagree with Trump’s “LIBERATE” tweets, only a quarter of Americans say they agree.

They are not Trump's protests. They belong to the groups of people in their respective states. You are simply lying. Apparently, it is the best and about the only thing you can do.

More Russia Spygate Indictments Coming ‘This Week’

The MSM will be doubling down on Covid 19 when these come out. There will not be any denying the fact someone is going to pay.
Quote:
Evidence was declassified by the Director of National Intelligence Ric Grenell and Attorney General William Barr in the past few weeks. The documents “revealed Russia knew as early as July 2016 that British Intelligence operative and FBI informer Christopher Steele was aiding an election-year FBI probe of Trump.” Additionally, the evidence clearly shows “the FBI was repeatedly warned that Steele was susceptible to Russian disinformation and that U.S. intelligence concluded some of his Hillary Clinton-funded dossier’s claims about Trump were false information planted by Moscow’s intelligence services.”

Daniel Hoffman, the CIA’s former station chief in Moscow and “one of America’s premier experts on Russia spy tradecraft, said he believed all along the Obama administration’s assessment was wrong and the newly declassified evidence confirms his suspicions” writes Solomon. Hoffman said, “the question of whether Russia favored Clinton or Trump is superfluous…there is no evidence Russia ever had the throw weight to influence the outcome of the 2016 election, the 2017 DNI report confirmed that.”

If I see a post with this pedigree, I just gotta laugh:

Gregg Jarrett
Gregg Jarrett is a Fox News legal analyst and commentator, and formerly worked as a defense attorney and adjunct law professor. He is the author of the No. 1 New York Times best-selling book “The Russia Hoax: The Illicit Scheme to Clear Hillary Clinton and Frame Donald Trump.” During his tenure, Jarrett has provided coverage on top new stories including the 2013 murder trial of George Zimmerman and the crash of Asiana Flight 214 at the San Francisco Airport (SFO). He has also reported on a variety of stories, including the deadly EF5 tornado in Moore, OK, the resignation of Pope Benedict XVI and the inauguration of Pope Francis, Superstorm Sandy and the Deepwater Horizon oil spill. Additionally, Jarrett contributed to the network's coverage of the 2004, 2008 and 2012 presidential elections. Prior to joining FNC, Jarrett served as an anchor and correspondent for MSNBC, where he covered the Israeli/Palestinian conflict, the terrorist attacks on 9/11 and the 2000 presidential election from Tallahassee, FL. He also served as an anchor at Court TV for nine years. Jarrett began his television career as an anchor and producer at KCSM-TV (PBS) in San Francisco, CA and then went on to work as an anchor and reporter for WMDT-TV (ABC 9) in Salisbury, MD, KSNW-TV (NBC 3) in Wichita, KS and the independently-owned WKFT-TV in Raleigh, NC. Jarrett graduated magna cum laude from Claremont Men's College * in 1977 with a B.A. in political science and earned his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings Collegeof the Law.

*Claremont McKenna College (CMC) is a private liberal arts college in Claremont, California. It has a curricular emphasis on economics, finance, international relations, government and public affairs. CMC is a member of the Claremont Colleges consortium.

Founded as a men's college in 1946, CMC became coeducational in 1976. The college focuses primarily on undergraduate education, but in 2007 it established the Robert Day School of Economics and Finance, which offers a master's program in finance. CMC is known for its conservative political orientation relative to comparable liberal arts colleges.[7][8] As of 2016, there are 1,344 undergraduate students and postgraduate students.

Anyone want to bet if those indictments ever come through???????????????

@coldjoint,
81% of the country support the continuation of social distancing antivirus measures which means even half of the country's Republicans, at the very least support it. Trump is trying very hard to ramp up support for the small minority of protesters, because he knows his approval rating is tanking and his re-election hopes are sinking, and that's really all he's most concerned about. Tke right wing fake news media are trying to whip their followers into a fever pitch with this, they're the ones that have been pushing it. They're failing. 81% agin 'em. Stay safe, stay home.

84.7% of Americans are completely ignorant and thus are not capable of fulfilling their duties as citizens.

The worst of them allowed their minds to be warped at the Ivy Schools.

Depressions really suck, as they were supposed to know.
