Trump has to be removed from effective decision-making authority. The only leverage point here is a public health person will have to come in to 'advise' and basically the stock market will have to crater any time Trump doesn't listen to him/her.

Progressives are.

If a progressive found out that North Korea had just fired an atomic warhead directly at his own family, his first response would be "This is great news! Let's blame Republicans for all the deaths!"

a progressive (however, I don't really know what that means to you)

A progressive is someone who admires Joseph Stalin and aspires to be just like him.

Now is a critical time to watch how Republicans behave regarding ameliorating the spread of the virus

The legislation put forth by Democrats would guarantee 14 days of paid leave for workers affected by the coronavirus outbreak.

Interesting to see reference to North Korea. Was it just two years ago that everyone was so impressed with Trump's bold act of fawning over a dictator and calling it "diplomacy"?

One has to keep track daily to determine if we're at war with Oceania, Eastasia or Eurasia.

Edit: Normally here one gets prescriptions for a 3 month period. I'm going to see my doc today to get a 6 month duration prescription. That keeps me out of a potentially harmful environment (doc's office) and frees the doc up for more important duties.

@hightor,
I was neither impressed nor unimpressed by the diplomacy with North Korea.

I hoped that it would work out, and felt that progressives were pretty unseemly for hoping that diplomacy would fail and war would break out (so they could blame Republicans for all the deaths).

Progressives really are horrible people.

@snood,
Lost?

I merely have sufficient ethics and morality to reject progressivism and all the suffering that it causes.

In good times, folks can go along being rather stupid and careless. But when things turn bad, some have the capacity to smarten up.
Quote:
This morning Bill Kristol, former Republican stalwart, reflected on Trump’s economic plans and tweeted: “Congress: 1. No bailouts for industries. 2. Targeted help for hospitals and the health care sector. 3. General relief directly to workers and families. The owners of capital have had a good decade and can weather a downturn; it’s labor that deserves a strengthened safety net.” (This prompted one wag to respond: “Wait, who are you?”)

How come you are never capable of thinking for yourself, and quickly devolve into name-calling on the rare occasions when you attempt to do so?

Seriously, "I think what that guy over there thinks" doesn't count as thinking.

Look at the way Biden enjoys violating people's civil liberties for his own personal pleasure:
