@snood,
Trump will defeat either Biden or Sanders, so it shouldn't matter.

But if it's Biden that Trump defeats in 2020, then in 2024 the left will insist that Trump's 2020 victory was because the Democratic nominee was too moderate, and they will make a hard push to ensure that the Democrats nominate a total weirdo in 2024, thereby helping to cement continued Republican control over the White House.

A Federal Judge Condemned the “Roberts Court’s Assault on Democracy.’’ It’s About Time.

...This dynamic is why it’s so astonishing to see progressive judges really go for broke in criticizing conservative bias in the judiciary, as U.S. District Court Judge Lynn Adelman does in criticizing the five conservative justices on the Roberts Supreme Court in an upcoming Harvard Law review article. The article begins, brutally:

Quote:
By now, it is a truism that Chief Justice John Roberts’ statement to the Senate Judiciary Committee that a Supreme Court justice’s role is the passive one of a neutral baseball “umpire who [merely] calls the balls and strikes” was a masterpiece of disingenuousness. Roberts’ misleading testimony inevitably comes to mind when one considers the course of decision-making by the Court over which he presides. This is so because the Roberts Court has been anything but passive. Rather, the Court’s hard right majority is actively participating in undermining American democracy. Indeed, the Roberts Court has contributed to insuring that the political system in the United States pays little attention to ordinary Americans and responds only to the wishes of a relatively small number of powerful corporations and individuals.

There are now 7 confirmed cases of covid in Mexico. And there are 755 cases in the US.

Mexico is demanding the wall be completed immediately and the US will pay for it.

If things continue as they’ve been thus far tonight, I don’t know what reason Bernie would have for staying in.
Anyone care to try to provide such a rationalization?

@blatham,
Progressive judges don't like the Constitution, and they don't like it when conservative judges enforce the Constitution.

Meanwhile in Las Vegas, a huge convention with 100k people is still planned for next week, and the major basically called the virus “fake news.”

Its the American way. If a few hundred people have to die in order for republican businesses to make money so be it.

Pocahontas, working in conjunction with the Democrat Party, totally destroyed the campaign of Bernie Sanders. If she would have quit 3 days earlier, Sanders would have beaten Biden in a route, it wouldn’t even have been close. They also got two other losers to support Sleepy Joe!

Hello passengers. This is the chief flight attendant. As you may have noticed, both wings have fallen off but our pilot has asked me to assure you that the cockpit windows have been opened and he and the co-pilot have stretched their arms out to compensate. We expect to be landing soon.
