I will be voting for all Republican candidates in the general election, Mr. Trump included, if that's what you mean.
@snood,

After Mr. Obama and the DNC maliciously disenfranchised Michigan in the 2008 primary, I now automatically vote for every Republican in every general election no matter what. I even make an effort to look up which judicial candidates are backed by the Republicans and vote for them too.
@Sturgis,
Hilly Clinton destroyed them.
@blatham,
darn tootin'.
She vowed revenge when she was denied her empire. This Covid-19 offers her perfect cover!
Wait, are not Trumps allowed to use the word perfect?
@blatham,
Excellent news. Now Putin's flooding of the market with cheap oil will only help the US economy.
Tell the auto industry more V8 engines please. And make 'em pushrods.
Quote:Acting director of national intelligence Richard Grenell has declined to appear before Congress on Tuesday to speak about foreign election threats, citing apprehension about his preparedness to address sensitive subjects that tend to upset the president, according to three people familiar with the matter.
The top intelligence community official asked President Trump to be excused from the briefings because he anticipated pointed questions from Democrats about politically volatile subjects — such as intelligence assessments that Russia is once more interfering in U.S. politics, two of the people said, speaking on the condition of anonymity to describe private discussions.
Maura Beard, a spokeswoman for the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), said in a statement that the agency never told Congress that Grenell would participate in the briefing. She said so despite a list circulated to lawmakers Monday showing that he was scheduled to appear.
...Grenell’s name had been included in a list of briefers given to Congress on Feb. 27 and again Monday, people familiar with the matter said, along with other national security officials including FBI Director Christopher A. Wray, National Security Agency Director Paul M. Nakasone and acting homeland security secretary Chad Wolf.

Pointed politically volatile questions. Only enemies of the state ask such questions. Lock them up.
Quote:The Trump Administration Is Stalling an Intel Report That Warns the U.S. Isn’t Ready for a Global Pandemic
An annual intelligence report that has been postponed without explanation by President Donald Trump’s administration warns that the U.S. remains unprepared for a global pandemic, two senior government officials who have reviewed a draft of the report tell TIME.
The office of the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) was scheduled to deliver the Worldwide Threat Assessment to the House Intelligence Committee on Feb. 12 and the hearing has not been rescheduled, according to staffers and members of the House and Senate intelligence committees. The DNI’s office declined requests for a comment on the status of the report. Democratic staffers say they do not expect the report to be released any time soon.
The final draft of the report remains classified but the two officials who have read it say it contains warnings similar to those in the last installment, which was published on January 29, 2019. The 2019 report warns on page 29 that, “The United States will remain vulnerable to the next flu pandemic or large-scale outbreak of a contagious disease that could lead to massive rates of death and disability, severely affect the world economy, strain international resources, and increase calls on the United States for support.”...

How unusual and unlike this administrations' normal levels of transparency and honesty.

Reporter Eamon Javers tells @MSNBC
that Trump is still too personally wounded by impeachment to get in a room with
@SpeakerPelosi & negotiate a coronavirus response.
"It doesn't seem like that would end well," Javers says of WH thinking on trying to get Trump & Pelosi together
No way of knowing presently if this is true but it would be in character, wouldn't it?
The thing is, Trump NEEDS the House now to get anything substantial done re the spreading pandemic. Pouting will only hurt him. And his party which you'd think might push them to push him. We'll see what happens. But he is about the worst possible person to be in charge right now.
@snood,
Trump wants to run against Bernie.

Mr. Trump is not to blame for the fact that House Democrats are only interested in conducting witch hunts and don't care about protecting the American people.
