No, nor should they be.

They broke the law. Why are they special? That is one more thing that will garner votes for Trump. The dual justice system has pissed people off.

That vote, in essence put the U.S. into a possibly irreversible coma.

A coma is preferable to what Democrats would do to this country.

@revelette3,
If someone gets tried, judged guilty and sentenced, while everyone expects a pardon, and then he’s pardoned- that is not justice being served. That’s kabuki.

It is also the way it goes. How anyone can bitch about justice when it is mangled by the Democrats daily.

You really ought not to say such silly things. Sanders' political ideas differ little from exists here in Canada or what exists in most northern European nations. And it doesn't take much thought to recognize that your claim or formula has zero application there.

Roger Stone joins the remarkable universe of criminality surrounding President Trump

Trump’s 2016 campaign chairman, Paul Manafort, is in prison after being found guilty on charges including fraud.

Manafort’s deputy on the campaign, his longtime business partner Rick Gates, is awaiting sentencing after agreeing to cooperate with investigators and pleading guilty to a conspiracy charge. Gates was also part of Trump’s inaugural team.

Trump’s former national security adviser Michael Flynn is awaiting sentencing for having lied to federal investigators.

Trump’s former personal attorney Michael Cohen is in prison, serving time for charges including lying to Congress, fraud and campaign finance violations — charges in which he implicated Trump.

A foreign policy adviser on Trump’s campaign, George Papadopoulos, was convicted of lying to investigators and served time in prison.

Stone was convicted by a jury of lying to Congress, apparently to protect Trump as part of the Russia probe.
WP

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't believe there was a single individual in Obama's staff or cabinet who were charged or found guilty of any crime. In eight years, of course.

And, Dear Leader takes a page from a couple of other sociopaths

"States with a very powerful death penalty on drug dealers don't have a drug problem. I don't know that our country is ready for that. But if you look throughout the world, the countries with a powerful death penalty -- death penalty -- with a fair but quick trial, they have very little, if any, drug problem. That includes China."

The founders were sociopaths? A lot of people favor the death penalty and they are hardly sociopaths. You are moralizing, that is useless coming from you.

Judicial Watch: CIA, DOJ Refuse to Confirm or Deny Existence of Eric Ciaramella Records

Huh? We know document exist. The Mueller report says so.

Quote:
“The CIA and Justice Department are covering up information about the alleged whistleblower behind the abusive impeachment of President Trump,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “CIA operative Ciaramella is documented to be involved in the Russia collusion investigation and was a key CIA operative on Ukraine in the both the Obama and Trump White Houses. The incredible secrecy about his activities shows that the DOJ and CIA are trying to cover-up rather than expose any agency abuses that led to unprecedented attacks on President Trump.”

This cover up was a factor in convincing moderate Republican senators to acquit.

@coldjoint,
Law is designed to protect the identity of whistleblowers intentkionally, so they will have no fear of dire consequences for outing the misdeeds or potential misdeeds of powerful corrupt people. Trump of course doesn't gover a **** about the law, he just publicly destroys those who dare to expose his misdeeds. It was amply documented that what the whistleblower said was in fact true. Trying to keep his identity secret was not a coverup, but the law. Judicial Watch is not an unbiased witness. Their rightist bent is well known.

@MontereyJack,
The whistle-blower law was not meant to shield Democratic dirty-tricksters from scrutiny. The Democrats' abuse of this law helped to push moderate Republican senators to vote for acquittal.

Judicial Watch scrutinizes Republicans just as much as they do Democrats.

Saying silly things works, Gbob is one of the few considerably better off by Trump and he doesn't want to miss out on another ivory backscratcher so he comes out with **** like this which the usual idiots swallow hook line and sinker.

Funny how Socialism is such a bogey man, but when you talk about Socialist policies without mentioning Socialism they're incredibly popular.

These people have a vested interest in lies.

US intelligence agencies have warned that Russia is attempting to help President Donald Trump get re-elected in November, US media report.

The comments came in a closed-door briefing to the House Intelligence Committee on 13 February, officials told US outlets.

President Trump was reportedly enraged, complaining that Democrats would use the information against him.

He replaced his acting intelligence chief, Joseph Maguire, on Thursday.

The New York Times reported that Mr Trump was particularly angry that Adam Schiff, the Democrat who led the impeachment proceedings against him, was at the briefing.

Mr Trump, impeached by the House of Representatives for abuse of power and obstruction of Congress, was acquitted after a two-week trial in the Republican-controlled Senate.

During the House intelligence briefing, Mr Trump's supporters argued that the president had taken a hard stance with Russia, and that European ties and security had been strengthened as a result, the newspaper added.

Mr Schiff later tweeted that if Mr Trump was in any way "interfering" with the sharing of information between US intelligence agencies and Congress regarding foreign interference in the election process, the president was "jeopardising" attempts to stop it.

Mr Maguire was a favourite to be nominated for the permanent Director of National Intelligence (DNI) post, the Washington Post said.

However, the paper said the president changed his mind when he found out about the briefing, and what he called the "disloyalty" of his staff.

The president announced this week that Mr Maguire would be replaced by Richard Grenell, the US ambassador to Germany and a Trump loyalist.

Two Trump administration officials told the New York Times that the replacement of Mr Maguire, so soon after the contentious briefing, was a coincidence.

US intelligence officials say Russia interfered in the 2016 presidential election to boost Mr Trump's campaign and cause chaos within the US electoral process.

Democrats criticised the president for appointing Mr Grenell, who has previously played down the extent of Russian interference in the last election, and has celebrated the rise of far-right politicians in Europe.

Ned Price, a former aide to Mr Trump's predecessor Barack Obama, said the president had "dropped the charade that he has any use for intelligence".

"He has just named the most political - and abrasive - US ambassador to what is supposed to be the least political - and undoubtedly delicate - role," he tweeted.

Two guesses why the paedophile protection posse (AKA the BBC) are openly attacking the US president;

he's exposing their global network, and draining their swamp.

You have the next guess......

So typical of Trump and crowd. Keep congress and America stupid about Russian interference because... it might hurt Trump's reputation. What an epic shitshow of dumbfuckery.
