Try not to fixate too much, gal.

I'm genuinely worried about your state of mind.

Along with Nancy Pelosi, this has been a rough ride for you all.

Respect the fact that you can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, you just might find, you get what you need. LOL

Was Obama was wrong to throw kids in cages?

I just don’t get the oohing and ahhing over Mitt Romney. What real risk is he taking? He’s a mega-wealthy sitting senator who’s not facing any reelection challenge. I’m very sorry, but I will save my breathless admiration for when a Republican who is at risk of losing their precious position and status takes a stand like this.

When a Republican betrays his fellow Republicans, progressives always heap empty praise on him. When the betrayal has run its course, progressives go back to attacking him just like they do any other Republican.

John McCain could never figure that out. He always looked so surprised and hurt when progressives started treating him as their enemy again.

We'll see if Mitt Romney is a quicker learner.

@oralloy,
Obama had a large number of unaccompanied kids coming in. they put themin enclosures for a short while til they could get foster care or relatives to care for them. Then they processed them quickly to come up with a humane set of caregivers. Trump got thousands of kids and familiers, ripped them away from their families, put them in detention camps, forgot where they put them, did nothing about providing foster care or finding their relaticves, reduced the number of cases they processed to iiscule levels, usvery heartlessly used the kids as bargaining chips on their parents, and did it all heartlessly and intentionally

I will save mine until someone from the Obama administration tells the truth about the rampant corruption and spying on Americans from reporters to presidential candidates.

Maybe Durham can convince someone.

@oralloy,
As usual Branco and oralloy twist things out of all connection with what rallyu happened. Trump ridiculed Obama's work with refugees and immigrants as "catch and release" because it was humane. Trump's policy has always been "catch and persecute".

So you are saying your fellow Americans working on the border intentionally were mean to children? That is a problem when you talk about other Americans like that, and it is why you loose elections.

Here's Colbert on Romney. Begin at 11:00

Many other Republicans are also easily wealthy enough to be free of future income concerns. A number of the GOP Senators are retiring with significant wealth in hand (Grassley is a multi-millionaire). If Romney still had political ambitions, his vote yesterday will never be forgiven on the right.

Romney was a moderate Republican until he decided to run against Obama and then he had to shift far right to gain the nomination and GOP support. It is not that his character is unimpeachable. But what he did here was brave and principled and he was the only one. This act deserves praise and a thank you.

The only other bit I'd add is that I suspect Mitt's theological community provides a zone of continued friendship and allegiance outside of the GOP crowd and that may well be a key difference with others.

Not my city streets. And wherever you live doesn't provide anything to help the mentalkly ill and homeless, which is why they end up in California which is more human and has a more livsable climate if you're on the street.
