The protesters are not threatening any violence. Progressives are just trying to stop peaceful protesters from marching in opposition to their draconian policies.

But some nuclear experts are not so sanguine, and are warning of the potential curse that could be unleashed by Barakah, from a nuclear arms race to environmental catastrophe.

A recent report by Paul Dorfman, chair of the non-profit Nuclear Consulting Group, titled Gulf Nuclear Ambition: New Reactors in the United Arab Emirates, highlights myriad risks inherent in Barakah's design.

It's interesting how the left solemnly supports the right of terrorists and evil dictators to build illegal nuclear weapons, but then they turn around and go into histrionics when a responsible nation tries to build a reactor that is designed for generating electricity.

Nice to see people rally around a racist. At least wearing Blackface made him one for a while, what happened, why is he still in office? The hypocrisy this man is a poster boy for abounds here.

Thanks to Max people are having to add all this unnecessary stuff otherwise he'll have a hissy fit for the next couple of pages.
And he's the one complaining about political correctness.

If gender equality is unnecessary, can we get the feminists to stop their hysterical yammering about it?

Feminists are the biggest hypocrites here. They say nothing about women who live under Sharia law.

The protest hasn't been cancelled, steps were taken to avoid as much violence possible (i.e. Charlottesville)

@glitterbag,
Preventing people from peacefully carrying guns in a protest about their right to have guns effectively undermines the protest.

Progressives hate the First Amendment just as much as they hate the Second Amendment.

Progressives actually just hate freedom in general. That's why progressives sided with the 9/11 hijackers (who also hated our freedom).

It's possible that they were just arrested to provide the left with an excuse to violate protesters' rights. Once the protest is over I would not be surprised to hear that the charges against them are dropped.

Three Neo-Nazis Arrested Over Plot To Murder Antifa Couple

Three members of neo-Nazi group “The Base” were arrested Wednesday on murder conspiracy charges, bringing the total number of the group’s members arrested to six this week alone.

In total, the arrests of the six men — three from Georgia, two from Maryland, and one from Canada — mark a broad-based law enforcement response to a group that has largely operated anonymously as its membership has grown in recent months.

Luke Austin Lane, Jacob Kaderli, and Michael John Helterband were arrested on Wednesday on charges of conspiracy to commit murder and participation in a criminal gang, the Georgia newspaper Rome News Tribune first reported Thursday night. It wasn’t clear Friday whether the men had legal representation.

According to an affidavit provided to TPM by the Floyd County Police Department, all three men were members of The Base.

The affidavit narrates how an FBI agent went undercover and participated in the vetting process for the group, gaining information on its membership and training regimen, which included “retreating under fire” drills and moving-and-shooting drills.

The Base is an “accelerationist” organization that seeks to prepare members for race war, and has seen its footprint grow in recent months as it tries to become an international neo-Nazi network.

The arrests added to three others that took place Thursday, as a trio of The Base members were reportedly planning to travel to a January 20 pro-gun rally in Richmond, Virginia...

Group also linked to vandalism of synagogues. Much to my surprise, these people are apparently all caucasian.

Then they should know the total membership. Why not report that number? Do you have any numbers on the size of this group?

'The U.S. military confirmed late Thursday that some American troops were evacuated for blast injuries sustained in Iran's ballistic missile attacks on bases in Iraq last week.

Ten service members injured at Al Asad Air Base in western Iraq were flown out of the country on Wednesday, and another service member was flown out on Jan. 10. Eight were taken to Landstuhl, Germany, while the three others were taken to Camp Arifjan in Kuwait, according to a statement from U.S. Central Command.

"While no U.S. service members were killed in the Jan. 8 Iranian attack on Al Asad Air base, several were treated for concussion symptoms from the blast and are still being assessed," said Capt. Bill Urban, spokesman for U.S. Central Command, in the statement released Thursday night. "As a standard procedure, all personnel in the vicinity of a blast are screened for traumatic brain injury, and if deemed appropriate are transported to a higher level of care."
