@coldjoint,
You weren't invited to my party. But if you ask nicely, I'm sure somebody would let you in.

They still have a lot of dirt to dig through, and that's not going away any time soon.

@RABEL222,
So expand on why you think Gowdy is dishonest.

That's how it works for most people.

GOP Senator 'Disturbed' By McConnell Coordinating With Trump Staff On Impeachment
Quote:
Alaska Republican Sen. Lisa Murkowski told a local television affiliate that she's "disturbed" by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell's plans to use "total coordination" with the White House to set out President Trump's impeachment trial.

Quote:
Murkowski isn't the only Republican wild card in a potential Senate trial. Sens. Mitt Romney of Utah and Susan Collins of Maine have also held back their plans for how they may vote in an impeachment trial.

What a crock. Trump had the opportunity to have legal council and refused to cooperate. Now you want to twist that fact into Pelosi not playing by the rules? Bull.

The Democrats refused to let Trump call any of the witnesses that he wanted to call to rebut their witch hunt.

I suppose that to a progressive, a fair trial means not letting the defendant defend himself.

Trump stonewalled any witnesses vfrom his administration who haf some direct knowledge. Gop. Lawyers and congresspeople had equal time for wuestioning. The impeachment inquiry was akin to a grand jury not a trial and that was far more open than it cou

When Democrats abuse the law to harm people who disagree with them, that's a witch hunt.

@oralloy,
What kind of a constiutionally demanded full and fair trial do you get when onee side says before it starts that no matter whatthe evidence mayshow they will still find the defendant not guilty. Zero fairness there. Typical gop sycophancy for authoritarianism.

I never said the Senate was going to put on a fair trial.

The only thing this witch hunt deserves is a summary dismissal.

No, I don't realize that. My posts are usually sourced and you not liking my sources is the easy way out. I did not expect anything else from you. Certainly nothing original or admitting you are wrong about so many things.

There has been 0 fairness so far. Why should the Senate start? A taste of their own medicine is what Democrats deserve.

@coldjoint,
Yes. Exactly.

Although it's really looking like the Democrats have backed down on impeachment, and will not even submit charges to the Senate now.
