@Builder,
Prove its not true. He solicited election help from two foreign countries and the only problem he had was the house impeaching him. A chicken shyt Senate won't do anything to him. He and the whole republican party are crooked as a dogs hind leg. And its a known fact Trump towers casinos laundered Russian mafia money. Google it.

I did. There's plenty of conjecture and posturing, but much like Mueller's efforts during two years of investigation, nothing tangible to report.

And, any deals Trump made before becoming president of the US of A don't have anything to do with his work today.

@Builder,
Being elected president does not make a crook an honest man. It just makes him a crooked president. And the plurality that voted for him stupid.

@Builder,
Why do you think he is hiding his tax statement. When he retires and loses his presidential cloak of protection a lot of republicans are going to be very embarrassed and if there is any justice many in government will land in jail. I wish I could be around to see the show.

Democrats have already trampled his rights to due process and his rights to legal representation, departing from the precedents in the Nixon and Clinton impeachment inquiries. Pelosi’s new gambit simply adds to those abuses and mocks the ideal of justice.

What a crock. Trump had the opportunity to have legal council and refused to cooperate. Now you want to twist that fact into Pelosi not playing by the rules? Bull.

That is because the information the lawyers needed was given to the day before giving them no time to mount a defense. You try the truth.

@coldjoint,
That's your answer? Since all sworn testimonies were submitted and weeks of public testimony that gave plenty of time for a competent defense. But since there is no defense that won't incriminate Trump any further, he probably is wise to stay off the witness stand.

I am quoting from articles, and providing a source. Here's another one.

Quote:
ALAN DERSHOWITZ: There's nothing in the Constitution about articles of impeachment. There's nothing about forwarding. As far as the American public is concerned the president has been impeached and that's why it was utterly unfair to suggest that we don't have to allow the Senate now to acquit him. So, there are two alternatives. If he hasn't been impeached Nancy Pelosi has to go to the media and say please, all the media that have said he's impeached, please withdraw that. Correct it. He's not impeached. He's presumed innocent. He's absolutely innocent. His status hasn't changed. And if he has been impeached the Senate has to start their trial as soon as they choose to. Remember the Senate is the sole judge of guilt or innocence of impeachment. And so the Democrats can't have it both ways. They can't say on the one hand to the public we're saying he's impeached but for the Senate we're saying he's not impeached. You know what I say? This is obstruction of the Senate. Exactly the same charge they made against the president. This is an abuse of power, exactly the same charge they made against the president. It's wrong constitutionally. It's wrong morally and it's wrong politically.

The real victims here are the American people and the Constitution. The Constitution has been damaged by this ploy being used by Nancy Pelosi who I have long admired but this is a very bad time for the United States Constitution.

Your president was under investigation by the FBI and CIA even before he got elected, and for two years after being elected, and I'm damn sure if they found enough dirt on him to oust him, he'd be long gone.

It just makes him a crooked president.

See above. Mueller found nothing.

In a fiery letter, Trump’s counsel Pat Cipollone accused the Democrats of "purposely" scheduling the hearing when Trump would be attending the NATO Leaders' Meeting in London.

Cipollone said Democratic chairman, Jerry Nadler, had provided only "vague" details about the hearing, which had been set for Wednesday.

“This baseless and highly partisan inquiry violates all past historical precedent, basic due process rights, and fundamental fairness,” Cipollone wrote.

You are spouting lies. The Republicans did not even have all the depositions of the testimony.
