@McGentrix,
It’s pretty compelling when somebody’s right about so much. What else do you base wisdom on? People who were wrong a lot? (shrug)

Fiona Hill was advising against sending arms to Ukraine in 2015, but by 2017 she thought it was okay. I didn't see where she expounded on that change.

Fiona Hill worked for the National Security Council:

Wikipedia:
The National Security Council was created in 1947 by the National Security Act. It was created because policymakers felt that the diplomacy of the State Department was no longer adequate to contain the Soviet Union, in light of the tension between the Soviet Union and the United States.[1] The intent was to ensure coordination and concurrence among the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force and other instruments of national security policy such as the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), also created in the National Security Act. In 2004, the position of Director of National Intelligence (DNI) was created, taking over the responsibilities previously held by the head of CIA, the Director of Central Intelligence, as a cabinet-level position to oversee and coordinate activities of the Intelligence Community.[2]

John Brennan was Director of the CIA, a member of NSC. The policy Director Brennan speaks of was a combined policy of the NSC, which is the foundation of Ms Hills testimony. Unified policy is a principal of good governing unlike the shame job being performed today based upon that of and what is good for the benefit of one person - the president; but for the benefit of the USA and its people. And then, tRumps' shame policy is run by nonNSA member who knows nothing of the Nations unified policy; instead running a shame and illegal policy.

Whoa, what a concept! Whoever thought there should be good governance? This proves why tRump must be Impeached, he is a dimwit running shame uncoordinated policy that is an abuse of power and a threat to National Security!

Thanks for asking.......

Netanyahu’s Cry of Attempted Coup Sounds Familiar

Charged with corruption, Israel’s prime minister attacks his country’s institutions, just like his friend in Washington.

When the Israeli attorney general filed corruption charges against Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday, his political rivals were quick to dredge up a statement he made 11 years ago, when his predecessor as prime minister fell afoul of the law.

“A prime minister steeped up to his neck in investigations doesn’t have a moral or public mandate to make such fateful decisions regarding the State of Israel,” Mr. Netanyahu said at the time about Ehud Olmert, who eventually served time in prison. “There is a real, not unfounded fear that he will make decisions based on his own interests of political survivability rather than the normal interest.”

Most politicians have probably made statements at some point that they don’t want to be reminded of. But Mr. Netanyahu’s assertion has the virtue of being indisputable. Justice demands that a politician enjoy the same presumption of innocence as any citizen, but public service demands that a leader place the public interest before his own.

Mr. Netanyahu evinces no intention of heeding himself. Over the many months in which he has been under investigation, he has labored to ensure his political survival, and on the announcement of the indictments he turned viciously on the police and prosecutors, urging Israelis to “investigate the investigators,” warning of an “attempted coup” and vowing not to step down. It was a hard conspiracy theory to swallow, as the attorney general, Avichai Mandelblit, had been appointed by Mr. Netanyahu and had once been his cabinet secretary.

You got that right. Everyone should know what Chomsky is going to say before he says it.

If Trump ever goes through with his exciting plan to stage a huge military parade in DC, I expect he'll order that the parade be led by a flashy contingent of soldiers who've been convicted of war crimes.

Soldiers who have violated the rules of warfare and have been convicted under the UCMJ are criminals who happen to have been wearing a uniform when they committed their crimes.

The president can change that and he has. Remember the rules of engagement under Obama got our soldiers killed.

From your link. Same old. And the same bullshit as the IRS scandal trying to blame it on rogue lower level officials in Cincinnati. They could at least try something original.

Trump is using his Constitutionally granted power. That is no reason to remove any president from office .

Unnamed sources are not facts. And you are going to hate it when Durham's report is finished. They will name sources. Durham has too much experience to bring charges he cannot prove.

Wrong in your opinion is not illegal. Presidents are not subject to opinions, they are subject to the law.

After Scooter Libby, I really don't trust any leftist claims that someone is a criminal.

But really, who cares what Trump does, so long as he also protects us from progressives who are trying to violate our civil liberties for fun.
