ADL falsifies hate crime statistics to claim “right-wing extremists” are biggest threat

Quote:
Greenblatt’s ADL has become notorious for undermining its mission by putting out fake hate crime statistics. And these fake statistics were as surreally egregious as they were confusing.

The executive summary of the ADL’s annual report claimed that, “2018 was a particularly active year for right-wing extremist murders: Every single extremist killing — from Pittsburgh to Parkland — had a link to right-wing extremism.” This false claim was quickly picked up and repeated by the media.

Typically, the ADL report contradicts itself when it later claims that, “Almost all of the 2018 extremist-related murders were committed by right-wing extremists.”

Is it “every” or “almost all”?

Propaganda. The ADL is a propaganda wing of the progressives.

How politics threatens the 2020 Census
If Hispanics, blacks, the poor and other hard-to-count groups go undercounted, seats in Congress and federal funding will be in jeopardy.

The White House attacked acting ambassador to Ukraine Bill Taylor on Tuesday after he gave a shocking testimony detailing President Donald Trump’s Ukraine scheme.

“President Trump has done nothing wrong — this is a coordinated smear campaign from far-left lawmakers and radical unelected bureaucrats waging war on the Constitution,” White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham said in a statement, insisting once more that “there was no quid pro quo.”
TPM

That bolded phrase has long been used as a key element of the propaganda campaign to discredit the EU and more recently in the push to convince Brits to leave. So it looks like the Trump PR people are now so devoid of any credible or honest rationale for what Trump etc were up to in the Ukraine that they've turned to this one.

And it is bogglingly stupid. Those who sit in the House and the Senate along with the President and Vice President are the only elected officials in the US federal government. Everyone else including Trump's cabinet (if not drawn from the House or Senate) are unelected. Everyone in every department of government are unelected. Everyone in the military is unelected. Jared Kushner and Trump's daughter are unelected. Bill Taylor, the target of this smear, was appointed to his post by the Trump administration (or a prior administration) as are all diplomatic staff.

But the Fox-watching cadre of suckers will, for the most part, buy this smear because they've been well trained to be idiots.

Just as they'll buy the "waging war on the constitution" statement. This is long past being merely ridiculous. This is really dangerous.

McConnell refuses to support Trump's loud claims about speaking with McConnell regarding the Ukraine matter and refuses to validate Trump's statements about what McConnell said.
Quote:
According to a CBS News report Tuesday, McConnell denied speaking with Trump about the July call with Zelensky — which showed efforts by the President to pressure the Ukrainian government into manufacturing false allegations against Democratic frontrunner Joe Biden and his son Hunter — and declaring it “innocent.”

When asked by CBS News Tuesday whether Trump lied about the supposed discussion, McConnell said “you’d have to ask him” and that he doesn’t “recall any conversations with the President about that phone call.”

CBS News noted that McConnell’s response to the July call contradicts what Trump told reporters earlier this month. A White House transcript of a Trump pool spray on Oct. 3 showed that the President pointed to McConnell’s statement in response to the White House-released memo of the call. In his remarks, Trump claimed that McConnell told him that it was “the most innocent phone call that I’ve read.”
TPM

Now, does Trump freak out about this and publicly target McConnell? He'll freak out for sure but he's on thin ice with the Senate leader (and probably many others as well) who could, if he deems it better for his party, permit something like an actual Senate trial.

You mean, such as: "President Trump decried the Constitution's “phony emoluments clause” as he defended his original decision to host next year's G-7 summit at his Doral resort in Miami."

You are here ignoring the flood of evidence confirming the Democrat effort to impeach President Trump since his election and before he took office. The Mueller investigation was designed to investigate only supposed Trump collusion and not that done by candidate Hillary Clinton and her campaign staff. Despite that it found nothing.

Now AG Barr has appointed a Justice Department to investigate the origins of the Mueller Investigation and the likely illicit monitoring of the Trump campaign and presidential communications. I believe the ongoing Democrat effort is in large part a desperate effort to deflect attention from these forthcoming results.

Now Democrats, afraid of the results of the DOJ investigation and the likely election results are pursuing an impeachment process that ignores all past precedent and our constitutional requirements for legal procedures of all kinds. The likelihood that they will establish a crime with which to justify their actions is quite negligible.

The steam to be running our of the ongoing Schiff star chamber, just as it has done regarding past investigations and claims on the part of Chairman Schiff of irrefutable evidence against Trump. This one will likely fizzle out as well.

The 21 Republicans on the House Foreign Affairs Committee sent a letter to House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam B. Schiff (D-Calif.) on Tuesday requesting access to transcripts of the depositions and interviews conducted during the impeachment inquiry.

Led by Rep. Michael McCaul (Tex.), the top Republican on the foreign affairs panel, the lawmakers called it “outrageous and unjustifiable” of Schiff to deny them “those basic documents, which are critical to our ability to meaningfully prepare for and participate in this investigation.”

“We require the same access to the same documents in the same format, as is enjoyed by you and your staff. . . . I urge you to remedy this procedural injustice immediately, so that I am not forced to pursue public efforts to correct it, including by seeking a privileged vote on the House Floor,” the lawmakers wrote.

Oh. Propaganda, you say.

There's nothing that's going to change your mind, is there... That you can come up with a list that has 430+ instances of violence from Left leaning individuals and say, oh by the way, the Right leaning don't do that is really hard to figure.

You know why there isn't a complete list of violence from the Right? Because there's so many, it would take up pages upon pages and still not be an inclusive list. I guess it's just propaganda that Heather Heyer was killed and 19 wounded in Charlotte NC by some right wing nutjob in a car.

Yep, it's just propaganda.... As a woman in a Puerto Rico t-shirt is harassed in a park... https://www.chicagotribune.com/news/breaking/ct-puerto-rican-flag-trial-20190925-gk4ew64pdnaxvbriud6wbd265u-story.html

As two women were harassed just for speaking Spanish... https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/blakemontgomery/two-people-were-being-harassed-for-speaking-spanish-in-a Yep, propoganda too...

I could go on.

And on.

And on.

Now, I'm not saying the left hasn't cause it's fair share of violence. Sure it has. However, you seem to place blame in one direction without acknowledging where it all starts.

Yep. Propaganda, you say...
