That is incorrect. The confrontation took place a couple blocks from Trayvon's unit, in the same spot where Mr. Zimmerman was some four minutes earlier when the dispatcher advised him that pursuit was a bad idea.
MontereyJack wrote:There is no physical evidence Trayvon was beating him,
That is incorrect. There were wounds on the back of Mr. Zimmerman's head from where Trayvon was slamming his head against the concrete sidewalk.
MontereyJack wrote:but Z was the aggressor.
That is incorrect. The aggressor was the person who was trying to beat Mr. Zimmerman to death.
MontereyJack wrote:Trayvon feared for his life when the gun was pulled
Probably so, for about one second.
He shouldn't have been trying to murder the captain of the neighborhood watch if he did not want to be killed in self defense.
MontereyJack wrote:and was perfectly justified trying to get the gun away from what he regarded with much justification as a crazy person.
He really didn't have a chance to try. Mr. Zimmerman drew the gun and fired in a single motion.
But Trayvon would not have been justified in disarming his victim had he had an opportunity to do so.
MontereyJack wrote:Z commited legalized murder.
That is incorrect. Justified self defense is not murder.
