US man arrested for plotting synagogue attacks in Toledo, Ohio

Do you think the MSM will cover this?
Quote:
Earlier in December, Joseph told an undercover FBI agent that he was identifying synagogues in the Toldeo area to carry out a mass shooting attack in the name of the Islamic State. He told the undercover agent that Jews were evil, and that the Tree of Life Synagogue victims “got what was coming to them.”

“I admire what the guy did with the shooting actually,” Joseph wrote to the agent in one communication. “I can see myself carrying out this type of operation inshallah. They wouldn’t even expect [an attack] in my area.”

Inshallah. A religious term for " if God wills it". A religion teaches people God does will that is dangerous.

@MontereyJack,
Lets be honest, they have been saying a lot of the same things since the early 1990's and we still haven't seen anything close to the predictions, except that temps are higher but not by the amount they predicted 20 years ago.

Which mega fires and floods are you talking about? I haven't seen any islands disappear and polar bear populations seem to doing better than predicted.

@Baldimo,
The predictions in the 90s were actually pretty accurate. Go back and check. Polar bears aren't doing well. The arctic ice pack keeps diminishing, and the news from the low lying Pacific islands keeps showing them more and more awash, and CO2 hitu a new high and there is no question it is a greenhouse gas..we're feucking ourselves over. We've been warned.

@Baldimo,
Keep in.mind. They make a bundle of predictions from the simulations to cover possible future conditions which of course we won't know in advance. The simulations which match what actually happened in the interim have in fact problem accurate. Co2 has gone up. Temps have gone up. Effects have been more obvious.

@MontereyJack,
I recall how Rush Limbo had predicted that Polar Bears would thrive and he pointed to the late 80's when they were almost "irrupting". Today, the polar bar population is down about 20% worldwide. So unless they can hve a spurt of adaptive radiation, we may kiss this spcies bye bye. and how would we anlyze the reason behind it?? The evidence seems pretty clear no?

@Baldimo,
I’m not trying to pile on, but islands are shrinking, weather events are intensifying, we’re undergoing an extinction event... You can’t miss it.

My question is: what is the liberal community trying to get by fronting this narrative? I never could figure out what conservatives imagine the ulterior motive to be.

@coldjoint,
Are you worried that you’ll be charged more for carbon tax than me, or are you concerned about corporations?

I am concerned about draining this nations wealth, slowing the economy, and asking people to expect less which amounts to dumbing people down, as most think the science is settled.

@coldjoint,
Do you know that good, hard-working regular people can’t afford medicine to keep them alive, and a single-digit percentage of our bloated, unaudited military budget could ensure all Americans could see doctors and get life-saving medications?

Clear to those of us who agree with the conclusions reached by 97% of the scientific community.

Oh yeah, which one's were those?

Polar bears aren't doing well.

That's a lie, they are the highest recorded levels in history. Being placed on the endangered species list was propaganda by the Obama admin. It was a gift away to the Climate Change Clan.

The arctic ice pack keeps diminishing,

That's not what NASA has been saying for the last several years.

Once again, what proof.

Sounds like more of the same doom and gloom with nothing to show for it. Our climate changes and nothing we can do will stop that change, it will do so until we are long gone. Climate change people embody the worst hubris in humanity.

@Baldimo,
For a decade now, fires above the arctic circle have been increasing. Here's a report from this summer (clickity-click).

and . . .

Here's a report on sea level rise in several well-populated Pacific Island groups.

and . . .

Here's a report on eight Pacific Islands which are already awash.

Purely for political reasons, you're burying your head in the sand.

What I hear from researchers is that thepredictions made so far have been too optimistic. The **** will hit the fan sooner than we thought.

Just a few years ago, in another thread, I pointed out that scientists expected the Antarctic ice shelves to begin breaking up in 50 to 100 years. They reported that too soon, or not soon enough, depending on how your phrase it. In the summer of 2017, an ice berg almost the size of Delaware broke off the Larsen Ice Shelf. It contains more water than Lake Erie.

Remember kids, just two meters of sea level rise, and you can write off Miami.

Two nuns who worked at a Catholic school in California have admitted embezzling about $500,000 and using it to gamble in Las Vegas.

Sisters Mary Kreuper and Lana Chang took the money from St James' Catholic School in the city of Torrance, near Los Angeles, to spend in casinos.

The pair, who are said to be best friends, took funds from an account holding tuition fees and donations.

The sisters, who recently retired, have expressed remorse for their actions.

Mary Kreuper was the school principal for 29 years, while Lana Chang worked as a teacher for about 20 years. They are thought to have stolen the money over a period of at least a decade to spend on travel and gambling.

On Monday, St James' Catholic Church said the nuns had expressed "deep remorse" over their actions, adding that while the police had been informed, no criminal charges would be brought against the pair.

If only the criminal justice system was like the Catholic church. As long as you express "deep remorse" you can get away with anything. It worked for paedophiles so it's no surprise embezzlement isn't a problem either.
