@Olivier5,
It's almost amusing how the Trump supporters insist that any concern about a presidential candidate receiving an unprecedented amount of help from a foreign government thought to be hostile to Western democracy is just rank partisanship. So obviously, to them, the only reason the FBI and other intelligence agencies wanted to get details on possible Russian ties to Trump's campaign is because they're all Democrats. I mean, why else would the intelligence agencies be concerned if they weren't already in Clinton's pocket?

@Olivier5,
He just said an Opiod bill that was passed by the Senate passed with “little democratic support”.

Every single democrat voted for the bill and the only “no” vote was a Republican.

Lies, lies and more lies.

@maporsche,
He has been on a rallying campaign of lies, the worst part of it, it seems to be working. Nearly every single comment out of his mouth or off his tweets has been ramped up in lies and his approval numbers have improved. We need someone credible following him around and holding some kind of rally devoted to debunking Trump's latest lies. We also need more media people willing to call him a liar and not skate around it.

I know for a while all we heard about is how all democrats got is anti-Trump this and that so candidates have been rightly focusing on the issues. But since Trump has turned his attention to the mid-terms and holding all these rallies, democrats are not fighting issues or their opponents, they are all fighting Trump and his outlandish lies.

why can't the US inform its people about a foreign power trying to push for its Manchurian candidate?

Why can't they prove it?

@coldjoint,
Lyin' Trump doesn't need proof of anything.

@hightor,
It's almost amusing how the Trump detractors are so willing to ignore all the evidence that at least suggests top officials in the DOJ, FBI and CIA conspired to thwart the results of a presidential election. Such a thing is infinitely worse than interference by a foreign government.

BTW - They didn't have to be all Democrats; just solid members of The Establishment which Trump threatened.

@Finn dAbuzz,
Are you talking about the text message bits between FBI agents?

@Finn dAbuzz,
Call me old fashioned, but bold-faced lies used to be something we didn’t trumpet and excuse.

We argued over spin, qualified statements, policy promises vs results, etc.

But we at least drew the line at easily provable outright lies; or at least I remember we did.

@Finn dAbuzz,
I’m saying that political spin isn’t lying, it’s marketing.

@maporsche,
So what do you call the crafted lies of Harris, Booker, Feinstein, Obama etc?

Spin?

Marketing?

You find Trump's lies repugnant, but are happy to give a pass to the mendacity of politicians of whom you approve.

I'm not excusing Trump's lies, but I prefer a politician who makes obvious ones to one who can craft lies people will believe.

@Olivier5,
True, but so what?

Many people believed Obama's lies.

You just don't like the liar in question.

People do believe his lies. You're just rationalizing your allegiance to a serial liar.
