@revelette1,
Does that include RBG's comments on Trump during the election? Would her political bias keep her from ruling fairly on any cases involving Trump?
@revelette1,
The other link didn't work for me either. Don't know what I did earlier.
Your system does seem a far more sensible way to go about it. It is relatively new going by the article so had the advantage of the modern age to help it. Nevertheless, your system is admirable, but, I don't see the US making such a drastic change.
We had a hard enough time just getting the ACA which was a half measure designed to please everyone while giving insurance to everyone but made both sides mad for opposite reasons. At which republicans have hated ever since and the president has been chipping away at it since he managed to get elected. Still, with all our imperfections, I think in a future generation, we will improve on all these things when the coming generation grows up and starts getting involved.
@coldjoint,
she represents the US when she travels apart from her husband
@revelette1,
It's very new, prior to that the House of Lords was the highest court in the land but that had long been an anachronism. Everyone was agreed it needed to change and there were a lot of cross party discussions beforehand.
Trying to change your system reminds me of the old joke about someone asking for directions somewhere only to be told 'I wouldn't start from here.'
@coldjoint,
I'll keep that in mind. I hadn't thought of Melania in that way.
@ehBeth,
She's doing a bang up job of representing her husband, racist, insensitive, ignorant, she ticks all the boxes.
@coldjoint,
you'd forgotten about the trip

she needs to talk to her wardrobe people again
they didn't seem to have caught on after
she has a beautiful figure, tons of money. you'd think they tried to keep her travel style choices less problematic.
she reminds of Prince Harry when he was still a young guy - always misfiring a bit
I don't know if this is any measure to go by re UK and US supreme courts goes, but I can't name one judge who sits in our supreme court, that's how contentious they are. I still don't know if that's a good or bad thing.

He was also a bit racist, though not as bad as his granddad.
@izzythepush,
really? he's been here a lot over the years and never gave that impression
