@Walter Hinteler,

Coming back again to my previous, unanswered questions:
- who did file a suit?
- is thinking constitutionally regulated where you live?

Sorry, Walt. Was bedtime down under.

I'm happy to let the court system decide if there's a case to answer. The bias in this group is a palpable and even laughable thing. Trump was elected to the job, and many here just won't accept that fact. If his choice for the SC proves to be dodgy, then there should be checks and balances in place to veto that choice.

On the second question, it's becoming clearer by the day that "our" elected representatives are not ours at all. The recent ouster of our elected PM has not even been discussed in the Mudrock media, and moves are in place to remove or silence anyone who dares to question the official narrative on just about anything at all.

Discussing what happens (meaning whistle blowing) on the detention gulags on Manus and Nauru, can see you imprisoned. It's getting that bad here.

Word is getting out that former PM Turnbull did not flee to the US of A, but was ordered to appear at a tribunal on issues nobody has a clue about.

It's a wait and see from me.

But yes, the thought police are gearing up for an assault on our liberties, and that's global, rather than a localised issue.

In case you think Kavanaugh's lies and demeanor and credible claims of rape really bother new "hero" Jeff Flake--here's his quote today: “I’m a conservative. He’s a conservative. I plan to support him unless they turn up something...."

64 is a kind of an interesting number. Sort of reminds me of the scene in Gangs of New York where DiCaprio asks the redhaired girl if there was anybody in the Five Points who she HADN'T "focked" and she replies "Yes, YOU...."

@gungasnake,
You know what I like most about you????? You lap up outrageous allegations like they are ‘facts’....... and if you are the best thing the ‘Deep State’ has, the country will be alright. I offer my condolences on the loss of your mind.

Kavanaugh’s Ex-Girlfriend Erupts on ‘Offensive and Absurd’ New Allegations

Yet another fictitious demopoop anonymous letter alleges:

Quote:
The Washington Times reported.

The allegations had been made by the mother of a witness to the incident in a letter to Colorado GOP Sen. Cory Gardner, according to the Denver Post. It dated back to 1998, during Kavanaugh’s time with the Ken Starr investigation in Washington, D.C.

“Her friend was dating him, and they left the bar under the influence of alcohol. They were all shocked when Brett Kavanaugh shoved her friend up against the wall very aggressively and sexually,” the letter read.

“There were at least four witnesses, including my daughter.”

The letter contained no name or return address when it arrived at Sen. Gardner’s office last Saturday.

The girl in question replies indignantly:

Quote:

On Friday, however, the woman who was dating Kavanaugh at the time — Dabney Friedrich, currently a U.S. District Court judge in Washington D.C. — repudiated the contents of the letter.

“I write in response to a phone call I received this evening from Mike Davis, Chief Nominations Counsel for the Committee. In our phone call, Mr. Davis read an anonymous letter sent to Colorado Senator Cory Gardner dated September 22, 2018,” the statement to the Judiciary Committee read.

“Mr. Davis asked me (1) whether I dated Brett Kavanaugh in 1998 and (2) whether he ever shoved me against a wall. Mr. Davis also emailed me the attached letter and asked me to provide an immediate and written response to the Committee.

“As I informed Mr. Davis, I dated Brett Kavanaugh in 1998. To the extent the attached letter is referring to me as the ‘friend [who] was dating him,’ the allegations it makes are both offensive and absurd,” it continued.

“At no time did Brett ever shove me against a wall, including in an ‘aggressive and sexual’ manner. When we dated, Brett always treated me with the utmost respect, and we remain friends to this day. I have never observed (nor am I aware of) Brett acting in a physically inappropriate or aggressive manner toward anyone.”

Comment on a more enlightened forum:

Quote:
I feel so terrible for him that I can't even begin to say. And they are threatening his little girls and his wife. I can't imagine that he is not at the end of his rope. It's just tragic. What horrible, horrible people the Democrats and their flying monkeys are .

A White House official confirmed that Swetnick's claims will not be pursued as part of the reopened background investigation into Kavanaugh.

Michael Avenatti Says He’s Still Waiting for the FBI to Call
By Kate Prengel

Michael Avenatti is the lawyer best-known for representing Stormy Daniels, the porn star who allegedly had an affair with President Trump. But Avenatti also represents Julie Swetnick, the third person to come forward with allegations about inappropriate behavior by Brett Kavanaugh.

On Friday, the Senate leadership agreed to postpone the confirmation vote on Kavanaugh for a week so that the FBI had time to investigate the charges against Kavanaugh. A week is just a week — seven days isn’t a long time for an investigation. But by mid-morning on Saturday, Avenatti said that federal investigators still hadn’t reached out to him about Swetnick’s claims.

He wrote, “We have yet to hear from the FBI. When and if we do, we will promptly disclose to them all information and witnesses in our possession. We continue to request this opportunity as we have been doing for days. My client is telling the truth and deserves to be heard and not shammed [sic].”

Julie Swetnick has signed a sworn statement saying that Kavanaugh helped to drug women during the 1980s so that they could be gang-raped at parties. On Friday, Avenatti appeared at the Texas Tribune festival to talk about Swetnick’s statement and about Kavanaugh’s nomination.

He told the audience that he has several witnesses who can corroborate Swetnick’s claims about Kavanaugh — and he vowed to bring forward those witnesses soon. He said he expected to bring those witnesses forward within the next 72 hours.

Avenatti said, “We’ve been asking for an FBI investigation and for my client to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee, but the requests have been ignored. I know the identities of witnesses Julie said could corroborate her story, and I’m going to bring them forward soon.”

The Senate vote on Kavanaugh’s nomination will be delayed for a week while the FBI conducts an investigation into allegations against the Supreme Court nominee. But it wasn’t immediately clear whether the FBI will investigate all the charges against Kavanaugh — including the accusations made by Julie Swetnick and Debbie Ramirez – or whether the investigation will be restricted to the allegations made by Christine Ford, who says that Kavanaugh assaulted her when they were both in high school.

@Blickers,
Man, Trump & Co are really frightened of Avenatti. Understandably so, considering how he's exposed them so far. Cohen turning evidence for Mueller is largely Avenatti's doing, for instance.
