Kavanaugh really does sound like he's going completely flaky with Leahy. Kavanaugh's been flirting with it from the start but he's driving off the edge now. I'm not sure even conservatives are going to be comfortable with a guy like him making legal decisions that will endure for centuries.

Most modern conservatives, and certainly any in GOP or movement leadership. are completely delighted with this prospect. We ought not to minimize or fool ourselves regarding how deeply corrupt these people have become.

Well after listening all day long to commentaries, glad I don't do this often, stick to internet news, I think people are watching the pro-choice moderates who are on the committee. In the end, I think he will be confirmed, though it is a sick thing.

I still kind of believe Kavanaugh had a few drinks or something, I mean he didn't seem like a scholarly Judge to me at all. But he might be confirmed, the republicans can convince themselves of anything.

Just to prove I am not just being partisan, I am not sure I buy accusation number three just because of her lawyer. But I know I do Ford's and that anonymous last one.

I gotta hand it to the deep state..... What we saw today in the testimony of this Christine Ford was several steps beyond a stupid hoe just telling some kind of a stupid lie. I mean, it's easy enough to understand how she would pass a lie detector test, she actually believes what she was saying, and nobody makes any kind of a reality detector...

This was like the scene from a 1930s sci-fi movie where Fu Manchu or somebody has some poor woman stepped into a chair with a metal bowl strapped onto her head with electrical wires going to it, they have actually inserted that bullshit memory into the dumb bitches head. That's why parts of the story she was telling were vague or fuzzy, apparently it isn't possible to insert a whole day's worth of real life experience into somebody's head.

Again, this goes way beyond worrying about Ro/Wade or the abortion issue, this is about worrying about several thousand deep state people spending the rest of their lives in Guantánamo or some federal prison.

This might actually have something to do with why the Democrats were as slow as they were getting this charge of sex harassment in high school onto the committee agenda, that is, the brainwashing might not have been completed until a week or a week and a half ago.
