Which is the difference. I've not come across any Dem voters who haven't wanted all alleged sex offenders investigated. Sweeping stuff under the carpet and rushing nominations is definitely a feature of Agent Orange's supporters.

On Fox, Chris Wallace has revealed that this hearing today has encouraged two of his daughters to share their own assault experiences with father and mother.

The Republicans on the Judiciary are bona fide sociopaths. The courage and bravery of Dr. Ford is incredible. This entire nation owes her a tremendous debt for what she has done in the face of powerful, despicable men. Every minute they continue this gross inquisition is a crime.

The right's attempt to discredit Dr. Ford because she claims to be afraid of flying but flies a lot is TEH AWESOME. It's an established part of the Reagan legend that he was terrified of flying.

@blatham,
Where is Kavanaugh's repeat offense? Weinstein and Clinton made this a lifetime activity. Most sex offenders repeat their crimes. How was Kavanaugh able to resist what Bill and Harvey could not?

There is, of course, no real or actual Hell.

The closest we might get to imagining the thing is to think about the inside of Mitch McConnell's head right now.

I don't see why the Ford has to continue on. I mean it's been all day and the republicans haven't gotten anywhere at all other to make themselves look like a bunch of fools.

I'll make myself watch the Kavanaugh testimony. Graham is getting on my nerves. It is like he switched his hero worship from McCain to Trump, he can't stand on his own, he is like some kind of side kick puppy, yip yip.

Meanwhile there is scandal brewing with someone who works for FEMA stealing a truck or something and FEMA covering it up. Reading underneath on CNN.

I got the polygraph test Dr. Ford took showing truthfulness about her account in the record. To quote a judge: “law enforcement agencies use polygraphs to test the credibility of witnesses” & the tests “serve law enforcement purposes.” That judge was Brett Kavanaugh in 2016 case.

"Revenge on behalf of the Clintons" Brett Kavanaugh

This tells us exactly who he's speaking to here (right wing media and right wing base).

And who are the Democrats speaking to? People that presume guilt instead of innocence? People who are paid to disrupt and cause violence? Or we could just call them losers? What you encourage has nothing to with the rule of law or justice. It is no more than a calculated lie, and that despite of your bullshit it is obvious.

@blatham,
With his red nose and his belligerent attitude going on about his stupid calendar, I think he had a bit to drink before testifying, sort of a crying jag.

@revelette1,
I must say, if Kavanaugh doesn't make it to the Supreme Court, he should have a lucrative career as spokesman for a cold/allergy decongestant medication.

It's possible but my guess is he's following the Thomas example of playing the victim. That is the right wing's main thesis here or, more accurately, the right wing's ubiquitous and overarching description of their plight in almost all matters. And it is pretty much a certainty that this style of defense was crafted to shift sympathy from Ford to Kavanaugh.
