@blatham,
Putin likes French Toast for breakfast. So does Trump!
Putin rides in cars to get to and from work. So does Trump!
Putin wears a shirt. So does Trump!

It's like they are the same person! WHAT HAVE WE DONE?!

@Blickers,
You mean the same way the left was against Reagan and was pro-Russia? You guys on the left couldn't get enough of the cold war and wanted to see the USSR win it. Every move you made against Reagan showed this to be true. Now you are worried about Trump and Russia? I guess Obama kissing the feet of Iran and giving them ransom is the sign of a good leader?

@McGentrix,
It's hard to fathom how Blathy can think that kind of cheap-ass (non) association is actually saying anything, eh, Gent?

On second thought, I guess it does say something very clearly.

About Blathy, that is.

Can you give me a couple of examples of where Michael Moore was correct about anything he has said?

Did you know that CO tried to pass a Universal Healthcare Las this last election? It lost by 79%! That is a total shutdown of the idea here in my state and I loved it. No more socialism for the US.

No socialism in Colorado? What about police, fire, road and bridge maintenance, schools, social security and medicare, and the military? Did you get rid of all those as well?

Sorry but the military, police and fire depts are not socialism. Schools teach socialism but they are not socialism. Social security is indeed socialism and I would like to invest in my own retirement instead of the govt just handing me what they think I need. Medicare isn't socialism either as it was never a private organization taken over by the govt.

A voyage half way towards honesty would serve you well on this one. Either they are coordinating their messaging (quite possible) or they both perceive identical messaging serves each man's interests. In either case, that's a dangerous evolution for the US presidency.

@Baldimo,
These are services provided by the government, which is funded by taxes. The services are available to everyone in the community. That's socialism. What do YOU think it means?

From Jennifer Rubin
Quote:
As he did in his interview with Right Turn on Friday, Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah), chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, showed an abysmal lack of concern on Sunday in his appearance on This Week regarding President-elect Donald Trump’s ethical conflicts and his potential, as soon as he takes the oath of office, to violate the emoluments clause.

...That means Chaffetz’s constituents — and all Americans — have to insist Chaffetz and others do their job. Right now Chaffetz is enabling subversion of the plain text of the Constitution.

Aside from the abysmal morality of this, there's a very real electoral consequence for the GOP if they head in this direction. Blue collar and older demographics will be hit by this along with the poor and middle class. Because of the tax structures the GOP wants and is promising, the wealthy and very wealthy will gain and they'll be the only ones who do.

Today's CNN poll has another before and after. In mid-November 46% approved and 45% disapproved, against basically tied. In the poll just out today it's 40% approve, 52% disapprove.

These numbers aren't just double digits behind all his recent predecessors - at the same period, Obama was at 83%, Bush at 61% and Clinton at 68%. Most got more popular through their transitions. Trump's getting more unpopular as he goes.

@TomTomBinks,
Sorry but that is not socialism, you want it to be socialism but it isn't.

Here, I'll make it easy for you:
Quote:
a political and economic theory of social organization that advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole.

policy or practice based on the political and economic theory of socialism.

(in Marxist theory) a transitional social state between the overthrow of capitalism and the realization of communism.

You guys on the left have been trying to promote socialism for generations and it started with the Socialist FDR, the same man who put Asians, Italians and Germans in camps.

@blatham,
The liberal left controls the media, so they are doing everything they can, including posting more fake news to make Trumps #'s look as bad as they can. The same polls that had Hillary winning in a land slide show Trump is unpopular.

Unlike you lefties, I'm willing to give Trump the same chance I gave Obama. I have him 2 years before I started speaking out against him.

@Baldimo,
Why so many Americans fail to understand what socialism means is not surprising. Ignorance.
