@blatham,

Trump is not merely spinning in a way that benefits himself.

And the author of the article is not spinning anything? And why do people insist on harping on democracy when we are a Constitutional representative republic?

True democracy is no more than mob rule, and the violent mobs are coming out of the Left, and encouraged by some Democrats and condemned by none.

The really big difference between today's world and the political scene of the 1950s and 60s is the thing about the pigs these days all calling themselves Democrats. When I try to tell people under 30 the pigs in this country used to call themselves Republicans as recently as 40 or 50 years ago, I get some really funny looks.

After a year of electronic surveillance, all based on bogus warrant applications, no charges whatsoever have been brought against Carter Page. No "collusion" charges against Flynn, Manafort, Papadopolous, or anybody else in the world.

The place like the United States should not have political prisoners. Mueller and the sick clowns who work for him should not have the power to put somebody like Paul Manafort in prison.

@layman,
Looks like I didn't get this whole sentence pasted in right, eh?:

Quote:
The judges did not dispute the facts of the case, but the majority said they were bound by precedent that Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which prohibits sex discrimination, does not cover discrimination based on sexual orientation.

Cheese-eaters should rejoice. That would seem to imply that you can now run around trying to fire everyone in sight for NOT being gay, eh!?

Why don't you try that? Oh, wait---you already do.

He also posted this on another thread.

It's ironic that those screaming the loudest for "equity" and tolerance are the most inequitable and intolerant.

That those who protest "racism" 24/7 are the most racist.

Those denouncing "fascism" are the most fascist.

That those who scream about "genocide" are the most violent (which is, of course, completely justified by the need to exterminate dangerous people who perpetrate the most vicious and savage violence imaginable by wearing hats, and ****).

My experience has been that the "people of color" who buy into this victimhood mentality truly hate whites.

They're cheese-eaters.

@maporsche,
Ya got it backwards, Ma. Those who scream the loudest insisting that homosexuals should be tolerated also scream the loudest when demanding that anyone who isn't a homosexual must resign.

Why did Trump meet 1 on 1 with Putin? What might he be hiding from Bolton, Pompeo, Kelly, & the American public? How will Putin use whatever Trump could be hiding to advantage Russia & hurt America? Trump’s total lack of credibility renders spurious whatever explanation he gives.

@layman,
This guy wasn't trying to eliminate "gay pride," he was just asking for equal opportunity for normal people, that's all:

Quote:
Hickman, in his column, advocated for the month of July to be known as “Straight Pride American Month,” where “hundreds of millions of the rest of us can celebrate our month, peaking on July 4th, as healthy, heterosexual, fairly monogamous, keep our kinky stuff to ourselves, Americans.”

The so-called “straight pride” month would follow “LGBTQF-WTF” month, when “grown men wear skin tight short-shorts and go-go boots and don tinker bell wings,” Hickman stated in his column.

Good luck. You wouldn't believe the histrionics that Michigan had to endure from the left when we took over Flint and forced them into some semblance of good management.

I don't read his posts except when someone else quotes him. He's a bigot and a rather dim one at that. He brings nothing to the conversation, but I have enjoyed watching you wind him up.

Obama Cybersecurity Failures Are The Real 2016 Election Story

Quote:
That the Russians had their own active measures to interfere in our politics was a given – that’s what geopolitical adversaries do to advance their interests.

However, during the Obama years the FBI, CIA, NSA and other organs of the American national security services that were supposed to be working to disrupt such activities were apparently not just asleep at the wheel, with people like the libidinous FBI counter intelligence agent Peter Strzok on the case they were totally out of the game.

In fact, former Obama administration National Security Council cybersecurity coordinator Michael Daniel confirmed during a Senate hearing that a "stand down" order was given to counter Russian cyberattacks during the 2016 election.

The first sentence is just common sense. It has been going on since Communism's inception.

That Obama did nothing but try to connect the activity to Trump by allowing it to continue and have his top intelligence people lie about it, shows now more than ever. Playing games with our national security to elect Clinton, or plan B to frame Trump.

Add just one more failure to Obama's list.

It will come in handy for the American people once Trump gets enough real judges appointed, i.e. judges who apply and follow the law, rather try to change it to suit themselves

TV series. HBO. It ran during Bush's second term.

It was made by the same guy who made the 1990s TV show "Homicide: Life on the Street" (also set in Baltimore). The guy who created it used to be a Baltimore newspaper reporter. I guess he decided to create something out of all the horrors that he saw as a reporter.

The show is very highly acclaimed by critics. A number of critics go so far as to call it one of the best TV shows ever made. Part of why it is praised is because it is supposed to show the inner city as it really is without censoring anything. I guess moving to HBO allowed the guy to depict things that NBC wouldn't let him put on over‑the‑air broadcast.
