WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Forty percent of the staff members who were working a year ago in U.S. President Donald Trump’s White House have since left for other jobs, a new report shows, providing a snapshot of the chaos among Trump’s closest subordinates.

At all levels of seniority and pay levels, Trump staff churn has exceeded that of the executive office of former President Barack Obama, with a noticeably larger turnover among top aides, according to an annual report on the White House payroll released late on Friday and reviewed by Reuters.

In the top tier of staff, Trump’s White House has so far had the highest turnover of any modern administration, said Martha Kumar, a Towson University political scientist emeritus.

That hurts Trump’s ability to advance his policies in coordination with outside allies, said Kumar, director of the White House Transition Project, who has kept track of the turnover since the Reagan administration.

“You need to have a continuity,” she said.

Orange Trump ‘great again’ pills are the latest drug trend, turning up in a series of busts



Indiana state police have seized a shipment of orange ecstasy pills that bare the face of Donald Trump. On the other side, the pills are embossed with the words “Great Again”, a nod to the president’s campaigning slogan.

The pills turned up in a series of drug busts in Indiana in which 129 people arrested. Indiana state police released photographs of the pills in their haul.

Trump pills similar to these were first spotted in Germany last year, although those pills seem to be from a different batch. This is the first time police have reported finding them in the United States, and it’s unclear whether they originated in the US.

Obama administration granted citizenship to 2,500 Iranians during nuclear deal

The Obama administration granted citizenship to 2,500 Iranians, including family members of government officials, while negotiating the Iran nuclear deal, a senior cleric and member of parliament has claimed.

Hojjat al-Islam Mojtaba Zolnour, who is chairman of Iran’s parliamentary nuclear committee and a member of its national security and foreign affairs committee, made the allegations during an interview with the country’s Etemad newspaper, cited by the country’s Fars News agency.

He claimed it was done as a favor to senior Iranian officials linked to President Hassan Rouhani, and he alleged the move sparked a competition among Iranian officials over whose children would benefit from the scheme.

He estimated that between 30 and 60 were studying in the U.S. while the rest of them were working in the country “against our national interests."

It’s unclear if Zolnour meant citizenship or a green card. In 2015, 13,114 people born in Iran were issued green cards, while 13,298 were issued one in 2016, according to figures from the Department for Homeland Security. In 2015, 10,344 Iranians became naturalized, with a further 9,507 in 2016.

Asked about the cleric's claim, a State Department spokesperson said: “We’re not going to comment on every statement by an Iranian official.” The Department of Homeland Security declined to comment. A representative for Obama Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson also could not be reached for comment.

Beleaguered chief investigative correspondent Brian Ross is leaving ABC News seven months after he botched an “exclusive” report on Donald Trump and Russia that sent the stock market tumbling.

Many industry insiders assumed his days at ABC News were coming to an end when he was banned from covering Trump. News President James Goldston announced to staffers on Monday that Ross, and Investigative Chief Rhonda Schwartz, have “decided to leave the company."

Earlier this year, ABC News demoted Ross when he returned from a suspension handed down after he reported incorrectly on live television that fired National Security Adviser Michael Flynn would testify that Trump had ordered him to make contact with Russians about foreign policy while Trump was still a candidate. The report raised the specter of Trump’s impeachment and sent the stock market plummeting.

Just after Ross was suspended, President Trump told a crowd in Florida that Ross should have been fired.

“They took this fraudster from ABC,” Trump said. “They suspended him for a month. They should have fired him for what he wrote. He drove the stock market down 350 points in minutes, which by the way, tells you they really like me, right? When you think of it, and you know what he cost people? And I said to everybody: 'get yourself a lawyer and sue ABC News, sue them.'”

I'm sure, we all should believe what newspapers in Iran publish! And especially, if they publish what a cleric says.

And they’re right, only not in the way they seem to think. Millions and millions of Americans are working themselves into a collective stroke panicking for no reason about Trump’s frankly middle-of-the-road policies that ain’t much different from those of Bill and Hillary Clinton in the 1990s. It’s these levels of needless dementia and raging paranoia over a nonexistent threat that are dangerous, especially when these perma-geeks have been working themselves into justifying all sorts of violence against their childhood enemies for years now. The fact that these turd nuggets are so far down the Delusion Hole that they’re willing to start bombing places because they lost an election is a sign we’re dealing with the mentally afflicted.

Sums it up nicely.

Collins saying she would oppose any nominee she believed would overturn Roe v. Wade is less reassuring once you realize that she believes Gorsuch and Roberts wouldn't overturn Roe v Wade.

We won't need luck, on the immigration issue, clarity is out there for all to see and judge; as well as all the other issues which was protested.

LAPD arrests anti-Trump Los Angeles councilman among protesters blocking entrances to ICE detention facility

The LAPD arrested a Democratic Los Angeles councilman on Monday after he and other demonstrators blocked the entrances to a downtown Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention center for about an hour.

Images and videos posted to social media showed dozens of demonstrators waving signs and chanting slogans, with several blocking access to the detention center's driveways and entryways.

Eighteen protesters were arrested in total, according to local reports. Bonin's office acknowledged that the councilman had blocked the entrances to the ICE facility, and said that those arrested by the LAPD, including a local rabbi...

The government "is putting children in baby jails" and "internment camps," Bonin told reporters before his arrest. "Our government is inflicting knowing, intentional trauma upon the most innocent and the most vulnerable." He went on to call President Trump "evil" and referred to him as the "kidnapper-in-chief."

Bonin did not elaborate on particular policy proposals he would like to see. Pressed for specifics, Bonin spokesman David Graham-Caso told Fox News that the councilman would "like to see the federal government not ripping babies away from their mothers and not putting families in concentration camps -- that would be a start."

America Is Not the Common Property of All Mankind

But today’s crop is, or has relapsed into being, leftists pure and simple—ideologically and practically. Ideologically, they all want open borders and unending immigration. Try as they might to invent one, there is no “conservative case” for a social experiment this vast, risky, and transformative. Practically, they make common cause with the left every day, in every way, to demonize their former friends and to prevent conservative policy from being enacted.

Another democratic politician who is perfectly suited for the new, improved, Democratic party, eh?
