The ones that changed parties did.

Sorry, that survey does not say they actually changed parties. Their party preference in a poll just shifted slightly. You don't even understand the material you post.

And two out of three younger voters in that poll do not approve of, or like, President Trump.

while the majority believe he is “mentally unfit” (60%), “generally dishonest” (62%) or “a racist” (63%); and a Pew Research Center study found millennials gave a 64% job approval rating to President Obama in 2009-2010 but only 27% approval of Trump in 2017-2018.

4% is shifting slightly, not 23%.

The Democrats’ New Evita Peron Needs to Spend 3 Months in Venezuela

Quote:
One of Ocasio-Cortez’s most enthusiastic campaigners and a man who stood behind her at her victory party, Thomas Lopez-Pierre, is a known anti-Semite and racist. Lopez-Pierre has regularly used slurs against Jewish and black New Yorkers in public forums and while running for office himself.

While running for office in 2017, Lopez-Pierre specifically campaigned on “protecting tenants from greedy Jewish landlords.” Lopez-Pierre’s own campaign website shows his rantings agains “Greedy Jewish Landlords.” His campaign website applauds the arrest of “Greedy Jewish Landlords” and says that “Jewish Landlords” are “punishing” black and Hispanic families.

Socialist or Democrat a lot of hate going on here.

@oralloy,
Well of course, North Korea and The Peoples Republic of China find that to be very useful and efficient. Darn, I almost forgot to mention the garden spots in South America ooooh and don't forget Central America....where the death squads/gangs force women and their childen to flee to the safety of the US, but hahahahahaha, boy oh boy, were they mistaken. Yes Military Death Squads, read more than one news source and stop being such a pollyanna. If you are older than 15, it's time too put the blue skies, rainbow and fairy dust on the back burner and face the raw reality of unimaginable reality.

@gungasnake,
I want to see Trumps' grandfathers military records....oh wait, he didn't want to fight for Germany in the Kaiser's Germany and smuggled himself to the US sans official permission......OH and how about his Mothers immigration papers......oh right.....she was illegal,.

But what would really be delicious, would be to see the medical records of those pesky bone spurs deferments....it used to be called 4F. Or maybe Gunga was too young to be drafted.....one of those guys who just fantasize that they could have been a freaking Rambo.......(if they were involuntarily drafted)

We have a ton of those wanna-be warriors.

Reporter resigns after false tweet that Maryland shooting suspect had MAGA hat

A reporter in Springfield, Mass., resigned from his job Friday after posting a Twitter message falsely stating that Maryland shooting suspect Jarrod Ramos had brought a "Make America Great Again" hat to the office of the Capital Gazette.

Conor Berry, who wrote for the Republican, tweeted an image of a MAGA hat Thursday, and stated that Ramos had left it behind at the Gazette office after allegedly killing five Gazette employees.

In his resignation letter, Berry conceded that his tweet “taints the good work of fair-minded journalists everywhere.”

I know, this is just a run of the mill, "dog bites man," fake news production story, but what's new is that this guy was held accountable.

US ambassador to Estonia quits over Donald Trump's EU comments
Quote:
James D. Melville, Washington's ambassador to Estonia, wrote that he hopes the US "will someday return to being right." Melville is the latest in a line of senior diplomats to step down over Trump's treatment of allies.
[...]
After serving in the US diplomatic corps under six presidents and 11 secretaries of state, Melville will go into early retirement on July 29.

Foreign Policy: U.S. Ambassador to Estonia Resigns in Disgust After Trump Anti-Europe Rants
Quote:
“A Foreign Service Officer’s DNA is programmed to support policy and we’re schooled right from the start, that if there ever comes a point where one can no longer do so, particularly if one is in a position of leadership, the honorable course is to resign. Having served under six presidents and 11 secretaries of state, I never really thought it would reach that point for me,” he wrote in the post, which was obtained by Foreign Policy.

“For the President to say the EU was ‘set up to take advantage of the United States, to attack our piggy bank,’ or that ‘NATO is as bad as NAFTA’ is not only factually wrong, but proves to me that it’s time to go,” he wrote, citing Trump’s reported comments in recent weeks that have unnerved U.S. allies.

The post surprised several State Department officials who worked with Melville, describing him as a consummate professional who never let domestic politics impact his job.

Putin only wants an end to NWO posturing. We're on that path now, so don't get your panties in a bunch.

@Builder,

Not directly, no. When people make the connection they're referring to an increase in the propensity for angered people to respond violently to provocative political speech or perceived personal slights. Trump isn't the direct cause because it's a trend which has been developing for some time, but his bellicosity — I'd like to punch him in the face — and his position as president make him a convenient symbol for the phenomenon. He represents the country and is supported by a sizeable number of its citizens. It's not unprecedented, it's not unexpected, and it's not the least bit unusual for people to assign our leaders with some responsibility for the social climate.
