Huh, color me surprised. It would be interesting to see read his decision on that.

Are you an attorney familiar with immigration laws? You wouldn't get through the first page. Laughing

@coldjoint,
Actually this case, which I no way understand and don't pretend to, doesn't seem to be a partisan issue.

Quote:
The court’s 5-4 decision concerns a provision of immigration law that defines a “crime of violence”. Conviction for a crime of violence subjects an immigrant to deportation and usually speeds up the process.

A federal appeals court in San Francisco previously struck down the provision as too vague, and on Monday the supreme court agreed. The appeals court based its ruling on a 2015 supreme court decision that struck down a similarly worded part of another federal law that imposes longer prison sentences on repeat criminals.

Justice Elena Kagan wrote that the 20015 decision “tells us how to resolve this case”.

The decision is a loss for the Trump administration which, like Barack Obama’s administration before it, had defended the provision at issue.

Astonished by the all-out assault on Comey by Team Clinton. Suggesting he is a partisan interfering with the election is dangerous & unfair.

You do not consider immigration a partisan issue? Then you know very little about American politics.

Just another example of progressive lawfare against anyone who opposes illegal immigration.

@coldjoint,
Is immigration a partisan issue really? 82 percent of the country supports making illegal immigrants living here legal residents against 14 percent opposed. Mathematically that has to have strong GOP support too. Its been like that since W was pres. The country repudiates you, joint.

@coldjoint,
The reason I said it didn't seem partisan is because the reason they struck down the provision in the law was the same reason they struck down the 2015 case which dealt with repeat criminals which is not immigration. The provision which defines violence for immigrants or repeat offenders (in the 2015 case) was both too vague and were ruled the same for the same reason even though the two cases were about different issues.

Nikki Haley Got ‘Ahead of the Curve’ in Announcing Russian Sanctions, Officials Say
Quote:
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — The White House put further daylight between President Trump and his United Nations ambassador, Nikki R. Haley, on Tuesday, as Mr. Trump’s chief economic adviser, Larry Kudlow, said she had gotten “ahead of the curve” in announcing new sanctions against Russia.

On Monday, White House officials said Mr. Trump had not yet decided whether to impose sanctions on Russian companies found to be assisting Syria’s chemical weapons program. That contradicted Ms. Haley, who had said a day earlier that the president would take that step.

“She got ahead of the curve,” Mr. Kudlow said to reporters at a briefing hours before Mr. Trump welcomed Prime Minister Shinzo Abe of Japan to his Palm Beach estate, Mar-a-Lago.

“She’s done a great job,” Mr. Kudlow added. “She’s a very effective ambassador, but there might have been some momentary confusion about that.”

Mr. Kudlow was the first senior White House official to place the blame directly on Ms. Haley, and he did so at a briefing on an unrelated topic, Mr. Trump’s two days of meetings with Mr. Abe here.

Asked to explain the discrepancy between her and the administration, Mr. Kudlow said, “The issue here is, we have a set of sanctions, and additional sanctions are under consideration but not been determined.”

“If you talk to Steve Mnuchin at Treasury, and so forth, he will tell you the same thing,” Mr. Kudlow said, referring to the Treasury secretary. “They are in charge of this.”

Why Was This Man Allowed Into the United States?

The UK does it, but not to a guy like this.
Quote:
]A Syrian sheikh who defends suicide bombing against “all the Jewish people,” supports Hamas and advocates the death of homosexuals was the guest speaker at an Islamic conference on “Positive Parenting Skills” in Orlando, Florida on April 14.

Sheikh Muhammad Rateb Al-Nabulsi was previously allowed into the country by a special visa issued by the State Department under the Obama administration in 2014 for an 11-city fundraising tour for the Syrian people.

In January of 2017, he was also in the country, speaking at the Islamic Center of Davis, California and hosted by its imam Ammar Shahin, who also has a history of extremism and anti-Semitism.

Nabulsi has called Jews the “worst enemies of God” and “a hotbed of vices and evils.”

When asked about the legitimacy of Palestinian suicide bombings, he said, “All the Jewish people are combatants,” making all Jews acceptable targets.

Furthermore, he advocated that Muslim youth should be engaged in these acts. “They say: ‘suicide’ operation to deceive Muslims, that this is suicide, but we should call them martyrdom operations. A young man in the prime of his years sacrifices his life and shakes an entity [Israel],” he wrote.

As to homosexuality, Nabulsi expressed his opinion on the topic on Hamas TV in 2011. “Homosexuality involves a filthy place, and does not generate offspring,” he said. “Homosexuality leads to the destruction of the homosexual. That is why, brothers, homosexuality carries the death penalty.”

Why isn't this called out wherever this guy speaks? This is the people Trump wants to ban. Why wont anyone call out hate when a Muslim says it?

The record here and calling out hate is not that good, how does anyone defend this guy or deny he is a hater?

What is more important to you Trump's sex life or foreign policy? I think you people should make up your minds.
