Fox News host Shepard Smith acknowledged Hannity's connection to Cohen on the air Monday.

"We just spoke with his publicist here at Fox News who says that he says they have been friends a long time, he never denied that he was his lawyer, that he did some legal work for him along the way, and that's the extent of that," Smith said.

He is, Sessions appointed a guy named Huber to look into allegations against the FBI when he was in charge. Pay attention. What do you think Republicans want another special council for?

@ehBeth,
Why is it a big deal? Why are they downplaying it? Surely every case Cohen is involved did not involve sexual harassment and/assault..? What was that ole saying, "she doth protest too much?" Only he in this case.

@coldjoint,
Oh, well, it must not be anything there. Republicans are in control of congress, republicans are in charge at the Department of justice. If they had found anything whatsoever by this time, they would have a special prosecutor. Do you republicans not trust Sessions to look into it with a fair and impartial mind? Or is it he ain't producing results you guys want?

The voters knew about his life as a playboy. They voted for him anyway. If moral failures are the ones you speak of the people are looking at his job failings, and there have not been any.

I see, the handling of Killary email investigation was a joke, and Republicans know it was an abuse of power and they are not laughing.

PUBLIC SERVICE

The New York Times, for reporting led by Jodi Kantor, Megan Twohey, Emily Steel and Michael S. Schmidt; and The New Yorker, for reporting by Ronan Farrow
Investigations by The New York Times and Ronan Farrow, 30, of The New Yorker that revealed allegations of sexual harassment and the subsequent silencing of the victims helped topple powerful men — including in Hollywood, politics and Silicon Valley — and prompted a wave of women to share their experiences with abuse. Reporting on accusations against Bill O’Reilly, the former Fox News host, and Harvey Weinstein, the film mogul, inspired the global #MeToo movement that has opened new conversations about gender and power dynamics in the workplace.

The organizations were recognized for their reporting on Russia’s influence in the 2016 election, the Trump transition team and the presidential administration. The winning pieces included a report in The Post that Attorney General Sessions had spoken to Russia’s American ambassador during the presidential, contradicting his confirmation hearing testimony, and a report in The Times that President Trump asked James Comey, then the F.B.I.’s director, to end an inquiry into Michael Flynn.

Progressive emasculation has put the Pulitzers in the same category as the Nobel Prize. They both mean 0.

Stormy's lawyer, Michael Avenatti, just said on the Lawrence O'Donnell show that he is pretty certain this whole Hannity-is-my-client thing is because there is some document or record involving Hannity which Cohen might have that neither of them want the public to see, so both were eager to establish Hannity as a client of Cohen's so executive privilege can be claimed. O'Donnell said that mob bosses try the same thing-when some illegal activity is planned, make sure a lawyer is in the room to claim executive privilege. However, this ploy does not always work, it's not enough for a lawyer to be present, he has to be actually advising you in his legal capacity.

I wonder if this lawyer would like his lawyer/client privilege violated. Hannity has already said it was a real estate deal. Trumps lawyer knows real estate. More fairy tales to come.

@coldjoint,
Two thirds of the country support Planned Parenthoodand has for decades. But of course that supermajority support counts for nothing with the GOP. Just another reason to vote the GOP out of the their majority in Congress come November and get people in office who will do what we the people want them to do..

States are de-funding PP. Trump is pro life. Deal with it. And that two thirds do not know all the facts about PP. It is a secret, like Islam
