@revelette1,
Quote:
most women are offended by the C word, towards a man or a woman, conversely, men usually aren't too offended by the D word

Even if that were blanketed true, so then should it follow that all of society should conform to accommodate women?

How would that not confirm my point that our species is gynocentric even more?

@nononono,
Yeah thanks, you get bored then come over here and bore the rest of us into a stupor. But at least you manage to get some attention....I bet that's normally in short supply.

@centrox,
The Brits who use "****" are, of course, gentlemen.

I have noticed that. Could be a sign of a burn-out.

But...but...how much farther afield from the topic at hand can we be then ruminating on the pros and cons of "****?"

It's a wonder Set hasn't yet issued a warning to all birls and goys

The notion that use of the term "****" is somehow nuanced in the UK and entirely vulgar in the US is, as you noted, bollocks.

Finn, everything is nuanced in the UK and entirely vulgar in the US. Haven't you noticed? I have.

@nononono,
Now you are just being silly, when I turned 18 it was impossible for women to register for the draft. You could enlist, but you wouldn't be drafted. Also, the only path of service for women in the military at that time was either as a clerk (secretary) or nurse. I was a Language Major so I sought employment with DoD as a civilian. In fact, I don't think women can actually register for the draft even now although its always possible that could change.

Doesn't that make you a "species traitor"?

If so, would that even necessarily be a bad thing in an existential sense?
