Just the opposite. I'm always happy to discuss such things. It is the gun control people who divert the topic away from matters of substance and want to make everything about pistol grips.

Anyway, as rifle rounds go, the .223 Remington (and its military counterpart) isn't particularly deadly. The .270 Winchester is far deadlier.

Many factors determine the severity of a wound, including a bullet’s mass, velocity and composition, and where it strikes. The AR-15, like the M4 and M16 rifles issued to American soldiers, shoots lightweight, high speed bullets that can cause grievous bone and soft tissue wounds, in part by turning sideways, or “yawing,” when they hit a person. Surgeons say the weapons produce the same sort of horrific injuries seen on battlefields.

It was the gun banners who are responsible for that policy. They said that handguns needed to be more restricted than rifles because handguns are more dangerous.

If we allow the gun banners raise the age that someone can buy a rifle now, they'll turn right back around and start saying that handguns need to be more restricted than rifles again.

I confess it. One of the ways I've managed to grow as a person over the last two years or so is through modeling myself, so much as I can, on Donald Trump. And if we know anything about this man, it is that what marks his thought and speech acts more than anything else is understatement and a deep appreciation of the ironic.

They are such brave souls. I heard they even supply their prey with fully automatic weapons and loads of ammunition months before their death so they can train for the final duel. Then the prey don't even show up to the battle with their guns. Such bravery on both sides. The age old fight between man and dumb animal. Well, make that - dumb man and noble beast! Those two numbnuts would strave to death with a pantry full of food because they don't know how to operate a can opener.

At least after a hunt they have enough meat to make it through the harsh winter. Crying or Very sad
