Some cheese-eaters argue that criminals in sanctuary city jails shouldn't be "separated from their families" due to deportation, a stupid-ass argument to begin with.

In response the ICE guy says: "Fine, we'll go arrest them at home, then, and while we're there, we'll arrest and deport the entire family."

No "separation" that way, see?

I strongly suspect that this evidence is going to turn out to not actually exist.

In the highly unlikely event that it does exist, pardons should take care of the problem.

Nothing that I said could be construed as advocating a witch hunt. Outlawing a dangerous political party is a legitimate response when they perpetrate such egregious abuses.

Oralloy's answer is to take Trump's word at face value. Of course that only works if one has no intellectual curiosity whatsoever and is subservient enough to repeat Trump's nonsense about witch hunts. For those of us with a backbone it's not quite so easy.

The exercise of free speech does not extend to abusing the law to prosecute innocent people of fictitious crimes.

And when a political party starts abusing the law to harm innocent people merely for disagreeing with them, outlawing that party is a perfectly just response.

So no. No witch hunts on my part.

During G2 summit dinner of which leaders and their spouses attended, Trump got up from his seat and sat down beside Putin and talked without a US interpreter for at least an hour. Trump and Putin were among the last the leave. Putin left at 11:50 pm and Trump left at 11:54 pm. So we have no idea of what they talked about during that time because there was no US interpreter.
