On April 22, Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Alexander Khloponin, acting on behalf of the Russian Federation, signed the Paris Agreement adopted at the December 2015 UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Conference. This reaffirms Russia’s commitment to the joint objectives of the international community in climate change.
Who again was the stupid leader of the Russian Federation? Влади́мир Влади́мирович Пу́тин.

Draining The Swamp (con job edition) News From All Over
Quote:
Trump has granted more lobbyist waivers in 4 months than Obama did in 8 years
On the campaign trail, Donald Trump presented himself as the ultimate outsider who would rid Washington of special interest corruption and “drain the swamp.” And immediately after taking office, he signed a flashy executive order tightening restrictions on lobbyists’ work in the executive branch.

But he immediately began to staff the administration with people whose work seemed, on its face, to clearly violate the terms of the order. Rather than publicly grant waivers of ethics rules with a clearly stated rationale, the White House was simply routinely waiving ethics rules in secret so nobody knew how many waivers were issued or for what purpose.

After extensive back and forth with congressional Democrats and the Office of Government Ethics, Trump has finally provided documentation, and it shows that the ethics rules are plainly meaningless.

You have to hand it to the Christian right. Nobody combines these levels of stupidity and brain-dead certainty like these guys. It's a hell of an accomplishment.

It's hardly just the christian right, blatham. There's you and a lot of your hangers on who do the same thing - "levels of stupidity and brain-dead certainty".

Former FBI Director James Comey will testify before the Senate Intelligence Committee on June 8 as part of its probe into alleged Russian meddling in the U.S. presidential election and possible collusion with President Donald

Trump's campaign, the committee said on Thursday.

It said Comey would testify in an open session at 10 a.m. (1400 GMT), followed by a closed session.

The former FBI chief, who was fired by Trump on May 9, is expected to testify on conversations he had with Trump in which the president reportedly asked him to drop an investigation into former White House national security adviser Michael Flynn.

I suspect Trump will soon tweet showboat Comey can't stand to stay out of the public eye or something.

Typical of your open-mindedness. Why do you children pretend you are such open and honest debaters? As soon as any topic gets the least bit contentious you flee.

You mean the same way you deflect and divert away any questions as to the country you call home and the political system you favor? How about the way you ignore honest debates about what takes place in the Military Reserves or Army Basic Training?

I know, you are going to try and divert away from what I brought up in an attempt to steer the conversation right back to 9-11 and evil America. Not an honest bone in your body.

Such childish nonsense, Baldimo. You seize on two things, the first is of no consequence. If it were you would be addressing this same thing to others.

As to what I believe, I an very clear on that, and I express myself on that. I believe in political systems that do as they say, not pump out propaganda and do the exact opposite.

As I said, I've forgotten more than you will ever know.

the conversation right back to 9-11 and evil America

The US is evil. The historical record is clear. Anyone with a speck of honesty would look at the year after year invasions, the decades long terrorism, the numerous US overthrows of sovereign governments. That is the very definition of evil. That is what Nazis were hung for. You really do have a problem with acknowledging reality.

As for the other topic, it too illustrates how close-minded you all are. You raise hair-brained after hair-brained topic and you lot can go on and on forever but you know you are all frightened to talk about the BIG UNMENTIONABLE.

Even A2K's Mr Scientist won't go near it. So much for open minded Americans.

We know what takes place. That why so many tens of millions have been slaughtered by the US military, the one that, you know the myth, the ones that are coming to save the oppressed.

I have addressed them to others at different times the years I have been here. You are the only one who dodges and ducks these questions. You are a hiding coward, hence the reason you won't answer something so simple. I think exposing your location in the world will instantly discredit most of what you bitch about.

You have expressed nothing but BS platitudes and hate for the US. It's funny to see you against propaganda but what you spout is nothing but propaganda.

Quote:

I doubt that but when you speak in platitudes and propaganda, it's hard to narrow down what you do know.

You don't know what takes place and BS you spout proves it. More anti-US propaganda with no clue as to what really takes place. This is you running from an honest debate about what basic training is and what it is like to serve in the Reserves.

Another question for you to run from, have you ever served in the military?

I hope at the last minute Trump announces some big deal breaker which allows him to save face and remain in the Paris Climate Agreement. But I'll probably be disappointed.

Quote:
President Donald Trump will announce his decision on whether to pull the United States out of the Paris climate accord at 3 pm Eastern in the White House Rose Garden. You can watch the announcement live on C-SPAN.org when it begins, and we’ll embed a live stream above.

Multiple reports indicate that Trump is likely to announce a withdrawal from the agreement — though many of these reports have expressed at least some uncertainty, including about precisely what language Trump would use.

You sure get disappointed by some minor events, Revelette, but you seem to be oblivious to so many big ones.

That's always a real puzzle.

I see that Trump has now broken another promise with his order to keep the Israeli embassy in Tel Aviv.

On the other hand though, he is holding fast to his promises to keep the Russian embassy in the White House.

So, there's that.
