This is what those libtards over at Fox News had to say about the incident.

Quote:
Alicia Acuna of Fox News was in the room with two colleagues preparing for a television interview with Mr Gianforte at the time.

She said Mr Jacobs entered the room, put a voice recorder up to Mr Gianforte's face and asked about the Congressional Budget Office report on the American Health Care Act.

When Mr Jacobs persisted, "Gianforte grabbed Jacobs by the neck with both hands and slammed him into the ground behind him", she wrote.

"Faith, Keith and I watched in disbelief as Gianforte then began punching the reporter. As Gianforte moved on top of Jacobs, he began yelling something to the effect of, "I'm sick and tired of this!", she added.

"At no point did any of us who witnessed this assault see Jacobs show any form of physical aggression toward Gianforte," she said.

Mr Jacobs later told MSNBC he then went to a hospital to have his elbow X-rayed, because he landed on it during the incident.

The press has been beaten up in many countries under the sun. Maybe you should go live in Turkey or Saudi Arabia.

Efficient job.

Soon America will have a uniform state-sponsored news bloc.

Then we will have a real good excuse to beat the **** out of reporters!

@giujohn,
Honestly, move to Russia already. They beat up journalists there, when they fail to lick the dictator's ass. You'd love that...

Soros is not the state. He is a private businessman making business. FAUX is weak and debilitated, and there could be some money to be made by killing it off.

Now, if you love them so much, why don't you support FAUX Noose financially? I'm sure they'll welcome your money.

For those who eat slugs, I would think licking someone's ass would be desert. Bon appetit.

@giujohn,
It's a play on words John. He's calling them "libtards" because they are going against what he sees as some vast right winged conspiracy at FoxNews. It says "Fair and Balanced" right in their slogan but people like Izzy are too busy with their fingers in their ears going "nyah! nyah! nyah!" and throwing feces on everything to ever see that.

@giujohn,
Some asses are a delight to lick, I'll grant you that, but if you really feel that excited about the idea of beating up journalists, do move to Russia. That's where you belong right now. Cause the US press is beating YOU and your fake president to pulp, not vice versa.

@blatham,
You're so happily naive and dishonest.

Comey hurt Clinton! FIRE COMEY!
Trump fires Comey! HEY, HE CAN'T FIRE COMEY!

Clinton boards Loretta Lynch's plane during an investigation of his wife!
Hey, that's just Clinton.
Trump expresses hope that Comey will let an investigation go.
IMPEACH HIM!

Blatham's proof that the Russians sabotaged Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign?
Nikki Haley said so.

LOL. At least I'm actually interested in knowing facts. You've devolved into a cliche'd caricature.

@Olivier5,
Considering the fact that the majority of news outlets in the US are increasingly controlled by a single entity with an agenda, I do crave independent voices--even if I don't like what they say.

I have begun to support The Intercept, and I hope others who can will too -- even $5. a month would help.

@Olivier5,
I should have clarified: Soros successfully eliminating one of the few news outlets that opposes the US MSM, an increasingly uniform, deep state (state-sponsored) mouthpiece, effectively leaves us without an opposing voice.

Could Soros be part of the Deep State? Possibly, but the destruction of outliers to the state narrative works to the benefit of the Deep State no matter by what means it's accomplished.

And what would that entity be???

FAUX is not an independent voice. It's part of a global media empire that is dedicated to make its readership / viewwership dirt-stupid by spreading hillarious fake news. They invented the concept and made billions with it. Their death would be great news for the journalist profession and for the US as a whole.

That's good. Put your money where your heart is. Privately run media is basically a market for news, and that market is driven by consumer interest. As long as there will be people willing to pay for good quality information, good quality outlets will remain in business.
