Why mostly Indians believe in arrange marriages?

Unlike in other countries, Indians always believe in arrange marriage what is the reason behind it. Why do parents don't allow to have love marriages?

Many Indian families believe in "love marriages", especially among educated urban people. This is getting greater as time passes.
