Dandylion Green has steaks - anything else?

2pm
Dandlion Green?

I have my cell, many people know that number, including Dasha and Diane/Bob. I think you, Jes, should have it too, but it's been a while since I gave it to you.

Sorry I dropped out of planning today, I was busy. Tomorrow I'll be trying to get to my bro's open studio before the luncheon. So, you can get me by cell. If anyone wants any info on the open studio, let me know, I'll check a2k early tomorrow......

Sorry for any typos, I'm a little tipsy.

Dasha - we can go together if you want. I'll be at my bro's open studio, but will plan on being back here at 1-1:15. Can you be here then?

Can we get a head count? I can try to make reservations......

The Dandylion Green is just North of the Burlington Mall (one of my high school hang out malls):

From I-95 north take exit 33B onto Cambridge St (3A) north toward Burlington.

Then take a left onto Burlington Mall Rd.

The Dandylion Green is at 90 Burlington Mall Rd.

Dasha, never mind what I said above about coming here, I'll pick you up at your house (or Neiman - where ever you are).

on the drive back we saw half a dozen wild turkeys on 128, just hangin' out in the breakdown lane...

Nice image, what was around - is that urban or sort of rural?

Well, 128 is an 8-lane highway that goes in and out of denser and sparser populations. But, mostly it's the outer edge of the Boston Metropolitan area. I'd say - all in all - urban.

Too bad we took rte 3 back home.

The wild turkeys were between Burlington and Weston, heading South. I haven't heard any gobbling noises yet so I can assume they aren't moving into the neighborhood with all the other weirdos (us, the all-night skunk parties, the BC students, the old Russian and Irish ladies, the squirrels that now hang out on our deck, etc.).

Oh yes - the gathering! - it was great! We had a lovely time.

RP and I arrived and decided to wait in the car for a few minutes. We saw a PT cruiser pull in with a guy in a cowboy hat at the wheel. Of course that was Dys, and naturally Diane was with him. As we were talking, George arrived and then littlek and Dasha. We went in and had drinks and lunch (unfortunately, George had to leave fairly early). Then quinn1 and fishin' came over from a wedding.

There was a lot of fun and laughter as we discussed (in no particular order) tofu, Saudi Arabia, hog butchering, the chicken dance, pectin, and art in Boston. :-D

For ten bonus points: What do all these have in common?
